While Gears has tons of modern influence, it stays true to a core classic formula. I love it. Although I don't like the departure form the Gears 1 days, when it was about blowing your mates' heads off.
As the article said and what really hit home to me: "Think about this: when was the last time you played a CTF (Capture The Flag) game mode?"

This is just nonsense. We are paying customers, and undoubtedly a large portion of Ubi's market. Why would they shortchange us?
I like it... but there is far too much coming out to shell out the cash for this, sadly.

It's most definitely an interesting, unique, innovative technology and I'm eager to get my hands on it.
But we need to know what's going ot be on it and how it's going to be different; I want new IP, not Assassin's Creed a year late.
