I remember in 2005 where there were rumors about a "Halo 2.5", a sort of "enhanced" version of Halo 2 for the 360.
That seemed silly at the time and obviously never came to fruition, but here we are in 2012, and with the economy the way it is and the 360 having the install base that it does, I don't see Microsoft limiting their audience by solely releasing on the 360 versus the 720.

Play the first title and its expansion, United Offensive, on PC. They're quite cheap and offer some of the best of the FPS genre (UO is often hailed as the best expansion pack of all time, and it set standards of what an expansion should be). You can also play the original on Xbox live, Call of Duty Classic.

The single player was awesome, and wasn't tacked-on at all.
Anyone who says it is hasn't even completed the first mission. Sure, it felt a bit tedious at a few points, but it was a solid experience. Certainly not a 6.5.
