Chief is actually a robot. BAH DUM TISH!
But in reality, hearing the theory would be great.
Some interesting points are raised, such as the fact that Halo 4 is looking to redefine an industry like how the original did.
It would have to be something flat-out ridiculously impressive in order to achieve such an effect in the modern game industry.
When I saw this, I JUMPED hoping that Rare's XBLA version of the N64 Goldeneye had finally seen the light of day...
Then I was a little disappointed.
Very thought-provoking debate/discussion.
Not a future I'm looking forward to!
Live, definitely.
The quality in general is much better. PSN is in and of itself a crappy service, no matter what argument you try to put out. Live is better because they get funding. PSN+ has improved it slightly, but overall Live will always be better.
Interesting debate (and short!).
Nice list, some great titles in there.
Metro 2033 is such a fantastic game, I don't know why more people didn't play it.
We already knew when QuakeCon was, but good to know Beth's announced what'll be there.
QuakeCon is one of the best, most unique events in the gaming world. Unfortunately, with Zenimax in charge of id Software now, the show is becoming more and more of a tradeshow and less of a LAN party.
It helps smaller outlets get some coverage, I do admit, but it needs to stay at the core: the BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer). It's the king of fun and the spawn o...
It's essentially the Mercenaries mode from RE5 with a few extra characters and an extremely loose story.
Author hit the nail on the head.
It's a great portable game, but not quite the depth of a full title. Awesome when in need of a five or ten minute break!
It looks enticing, but absolutely no making-of videos?
Ehh...
Nice article, got the news and a good analysis of the screens versus just spitting the info back out like everyone else.
Spot on article.
I can't stand what's happening to good games like Hitman...
I want to believe this is why.
It's the only logical reason.
EDIT: To LOGICWINS below, that might be why it's getting delayed; there was a huge backlash when they said coop and mp weren't going to be in it.
So true... but of course, doing something like a modern makes too much sense. After all, they can make crappy fitness games and make much more money.
This.
Times ten.
Why has this not been done?
Seriously.
I cannot put into words how much my mind is screaming WHY!
I love living Louisiana. :(
You Oz folk are lucky!
I'm not much of an MK player myself, but might pick this up when it gets a little cheaper.'
Good to know the folks at OXCGN were sneaky getting their copy into Ozland, hehe.
Interesting game. You have to give the devs credit for successfully transitioning from open world to somewhat linear.
Yeah, but stuff in Oz is typically much more than over here in the States.
New games here are $60USD, versus I believe $100AUD?
