"So, what characters are in store, you may well ask? Well, returning to the fray from past Brawls we have Mario, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, ****Link (now with added alter-ego Sheik)****, Zelda, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Samus and those ever-so-cute Ice Climbers from way back in the NES days. "
Ahahahaha....what morons.
Edit: They completely fixed it!
As someone who owns ***only*** a Wii...
I agree with Pachter's statement.
Then say what you mean. :p
Because when someone reads:
"And 360 is the industry leader. Between hard ware sales. And killer software sales."
...that sure does sound like youre saying that it has the best hardware sales.
But I'll take your word for it.
Where are you getting your numbers 360Crusader?
360 is best in hardware sales!?
The Wii has topped two years worth of 360 sales in just ONE year and the PS3 has matched the 360's first year sales (when there was no competition) in its first year.
360 has dominated in software sales, so I have no argument there.
"I’m not saying the games themselves are bad… just the title (the actual name of the game)."
Come on MK, you could at least read the preview for the article!
The same goes for everyone else who posted!
He's not talking about the actual quality of the game, just of it's name!
Oh no, honesty!
Run for the hills!
"Some surgeons also reported that drawing a star symbol in the air above the operation table actually slowed down time, allowing for easier surgery conditions."
My personal view is that within a couple years the PS3 has a very good chance of overtaking the 360 (I really think how the Wii does in the long run is up in the air). But it's ***WAY*** too soon to make such a sure-sounding claim of that.
Once again, failed graphics.
Looks like an old PS2 game.
Demon...what are you talking about? You're blowing it way out of proportion. I own around 9 Wii games and I haven't bought (nor do I plan to buy) even one accessory. Looking at the titles I plan on purchasing in 2008, the only one I'll need an accessory for is MarioKart. That makes one accessory in 2 years, and it's one that's going to come with the game.
Let's fighting brawl!
Haha I can't believe this game doesn't have online.
Fail to the infinite power.
All video game consoles are toys...
They're just awesome, kick-ass toys.
The problem with Civ multiplayer is that you have to bank on the other person in the game being willing to play for hours and hours on end.
Find three friends, buy four gamecube controllers, rent Melee (which you can play on your Wii) and then you'll find out.
I never owned a Gamecube, but my roommate in college for three years did...so many fun times.
I have approved this story.
However, I disapprove of this story.
:)
:(
As far as I know Sony isn't using cheaper hardware (in terms of quality), just less hardware (taking out the PS2 stuff and 20-40 gigs). But besides that, the components originally used for the PS3 will naturally decrease in price over time.
+ Bubbles for saying "TPS". Far too often on N4G people pack third-person shooters and first-person shooters into the same category of first-person shooters, and it's a pet peeve of mine. And it's ignorant.
The question of the article is "can 360 do casual gaming?"
Kameo sold .53 million copies in 112 weeks. That's pretty awful sales for a casual game that you proclaim to be "a great game". It may very well be great, but the fact remains that most 360 owners want nothing to do with platforming and other casual type games.
Edit: at gina - did you even read my post? Look up there. Look at Kameo sales. .53 million. Not even close to a million, in two ...
This thread is ridiculous. This game has looked frickin' awesome for months and was expected to garner high scores (and it's already received a couple). Just because Gamespot gives a game a good score doesn't mean the game deserves a bad score; it just doesn't mean as much as IGN giving a game a good score.
