Man, I'm totally with you.
I never owned a Sony system before, and I bought my PS3 excited to play lots of JRPGs for years go come. One hasn't even come out yet, and then I found out that Eternal Sonata wasn't even coming to the US on the PS3.
The 360 already has Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Eternal Sonata (all of which I'd love to play).
If it wasn't for RROD I'd rather have a 360 at this point... :/

I had no problems with Super Mario Galaxy (a lot of people did), but watching this video made me dizzy.
But I guess it's not a bad thing...I mean if I were jumping around from building to building in real life I'd probably be dizzy too - so it's realism!
The final couple/few months of development are always heavy on polishing graphics. So I can guarantee that whatever trailers they show now - the actual game will look better. (this being true for any game, including Gears 2)
So now they have to retool this thing for the 360, and wait to release the PS3 (english) version until that's done? When the **** is this game coming out? Screw you Square-Enix (first time I said that was when they screwed over Nintendo, but this is even worse).
Neopets is just advertisements and scams in disguise as a cute kid-friendly online game.

So...does that mean they'll only use enemy level scaling some of the time, but not all of it? Because I still think that's kind of lame. But I hate speculation like this, so I'll just wait until Bethesda clears it up themselves.
Re-reading my post I think I sounded more negative than I really am about this game. Don't get me wrong, this is still one of my most anticipated games of the coming year. I just don't want a carbon copy of Oblivion with guns. Even if it is, I still think it will be an excellent game - but I think it could be so much more. Hopefully Bethesda delivers.

I'm still excited for this...I guess...but I think we all wanted more.
I own Oblivion (PC) and it's a fun game, but wasn't nearly as much fun as Morrowind, in my opinion.
I really hope that Fallout 3 isn't just Oblivion with guns! At the very least...PLEASE CORRECT THE ENEMY LEVEL SCALING!
Gears of War was/is a very good game, but only because it was:
1. Very polished
2. Had *great* graphics when it was released (still very good graphics 2+ years later)
But that's not enough to cement it as a great game in gaming history, in my humble opinion. Does MGS4 have what it takes? I think it likely does. And it's not because of the polish or the graphics (of which it has both) - it's because of the story and the unique gameplay.
Honestly, it looks like a well done Flash video...
That's not a negative or positive comment, it's just what I'm thinking.
I'm still not sure about this game...I need to see more.
Edit: haha, I guess I was onto something! :p I was just surprised to see how many people saying that they loved the "art direction" when it only looked like Flash to me... (the art direction of the actual game is different, though similar from what we've seen)
Honestly, I'm not too worried about the GTA franchise. I think any future games will still be good.
What worries me is the sports games. With no competition, I can't even imagine how awful EA's sports games will become...
If I were rich I'd probably pay people to make a game about me too...
But that doesn't mean I have to like his!

I want the PS3 graphics...but I want the Wii multiplayer.

Diablo (original) was made into a Playstation game.
It was pretty awesome too.
Of course, I'm buying the Diablo 3 PC version if they make a console version too (doubt it).
