I don't see how this is much of a second opinion. Everybody I know who complained that battlefront 2015 is not only shallow as a shooter, but an absolute travesty compared to Battlefront (the real one.)

"I believe."

Yeah, link relevant peer reviewed studies or nobody cares.

Uh, sweetheart, piracy has both of those requirements. Somebody had to buy a copy to put it online, and any positive experience with a game (be it borrowing a game from a friend, renting the game, sharing psn or steam accounts, or piracy,) can build up a fanbase that's willing to support the devs by paying for the game new.

And just to head off the obvious argument, while there is technically a limited supply of used games, it's not a real problem. At least not in ...

I would wear kirby lingerie. I wouldn't call basic panties with a little lace frill "lingerie." You got me all excited to import sexy kirby underwear and then let me down.

To be frank, that's the last good one. (though I haven't played the mmos.) 10-2 has a really good battle system but the story is pretty bad, 12 has half a good story ruined by cliche garbage and the "protagonist" sucking while it's combat is decent but ends up feeling half baked compared to more recent efforts like Xenoblade (and even games that came out around the same time like Grandia 3), the entire 13 series is a train wreck, and 15s story (you know, one of the defin...

I'd rather they do that then blow millions of dollars on unprofitable marketing schemes that requires then sell 9 million copies to profit.

It's also not in any way exclusive to Persona 4. Persona 3 has 3 versions of the actual game, an anime, a manga, several movies and, (I kid you not) a stage play. This is how Atlus does their marketing, and it has been since the PS2 era.

No, it's not. you're taking fixed paths to a fixed point, usually very linear paths (like the balconys on the wokie planet and the tombs/acadamy of korriban.) The game is no more open world after the second planet than the story missions of Mass Effect are.

Dear Skydragonityx:
That doesn't change the fundamental problems with storytelling in open worlds and how the type of stories Bioware is (or was) good at telling suffer from the open world structure.

In my view, there are effectively 2 ways to tell a traditional story properly in an open world.
1: Copy fallout NV and tie absolutely everything into 1 centeral conflict and make that conflict about things other than the player.
2: Let the main...

It is explained in a reasonable amount of detail how and why those things are, at least in part, symptoms of the open world design.

"The GPU will prioritize the game" is called "full screen," and CPU priority is as I've already explained.

So, best case, this is an attempt to fix the fact that UWPs are dog **** that require work arounds like "game mode" to do what exe's manage simply by going fullscreen. That's not adding consistency either, because you could also manage that by minimizing whatever is in the background so it's not being rendered.

PCSX2 can render it at whatever resolution you tell it too. 16:9 included. So can PPSSPP and any other half decent emulator, and no it doesn't involve simply stretching the image.

Not that they can't improve the remaster (say via improved texture quality or lighting) to make it actually worth playing compared to the emulated version, they can, just to say that "renders at X resolution or X aspect ratio" isn't among them. Anything can be propely render...

I wasn't talking about actual technical competence, that varies from studio to studio and varies more with how much EA meddles or otherwise screws them over. I was talking about busniess practices.

Though Battlefront is throughly mediocre, as are most other EA properties. They're almost universally incredibly shallow, especially after that adventerious phase from last gen mostly fizzled out and they really leaned hard into doing to absolutely everything what they d...

@TankCrossing I wasn't whining, I was making a statement of fact.

Game mode was hyped as this big performance booster, but it's literally just making it slightly faster to give games CPU priority, which means it does basically nothing if you're on a particularly powerful PC, aren't running a ton of background stuff, or have bothered to give the game priority in any other way (command lines, manually setting/saving the priority in the task manager when you in...

You don't need "game mode" to do that. There are a number of ways to give games CPU priority to prevent background applications slowing them down. "Game Mode" isn't doing anything that couldn't be done with an alt tab and a right click.

Or, or, we could just not buy it at all, let it flop, have an angry Disney murder the contract, and have developers/publishers who don't suck be in charge of the video game Star Wars stuff.

1: There is no shortage of piracy on consoles.

2: Have you ever bought a used game?

From the Developers perspective, what is the difference? In both cases you get access to the game, in both cases the developers have already been paid by the person who initially bought it, in both cases the developers see no money from any person who plays the game in that way. You might say "limited supply" for used games, but that's mostly BS because this ...

You don't bulk buy hundreds of keys at a time an trigger card protections dipshitt, you get several dozen stolen credit cards, find a game on sale, and buy as many as you can without hitting such limits on each card, and most purchases don't involve several steps on the part of the user to get through.

My card, for example, doesn't contact me or have any extra steps for any purchase under 200 usd, and it's actually 500 by default buy I had it lowered. In eit...

Do you have any idea what credit card fruad is? If there is a fradulent crdit card charge, the developes don't get to keep the money they made off that sale, they have to give it back,
and
on top of having to give it back if the credit card company figures it out before they do they have to pay additional fees,
and
even if they figure it out first they have so spend a bunch of time and money figuring it out in the first place.
and

They were sold with credit card fruad. They don't have a way of knowing that and stopping them being purchased beforehand, and they, by their own admission, spend tons of time and money tracking down and fixing the problems such fraud causes.

Also, Ebay garuntees things or they give a refund by defualt, and they'll (no joke) send the FBI after people who don't deliver products or who are suspected of selling stolen products. I know because I've been scammed...
