I have had six including the one I use now - I wholeheartedly believe a person could go through 12 of them.
With so many other video-gamey nouns left, there's bound to be more.
15 years is a long time in game design so I am glad this one holds up.
@RosweeSon Definitely agree that Gears has had its day.
They managed to ruin Xbox One long before launch so not ruining this yet is a big deal.
That's a strong mix
Halo is way past its peak - commercially and critically.
Hellblade is probably going to be a worthwhile title - but not a blockbusting system-seller.
Halo is definitely more than just Chief. Gave you an agree vote just for that.
Bored is a strong word for it. It isn't ever truly boring, I just wish it was leaner.
It would have been watered down until it was really bland and dull on Xbox.
Superb review of a great game.
I legit loved playing as Abby. I am just a bit evil or something.
What age are you?
If you don't remember PS2 games of this type, it will feel like s**t to play. It needed more work cos it is dated to play.
Thought it said MOFO for a second.
I play both every year for work. Prefer PES but the AI opposition has suffered in that too - the higher difficulties of both FIFA and PES are now laden with unstoppable AI goals.
I think it's because the devs know they make more money manipulating matches between humans online so they focus on that instead of keeping single-player interesting for fans who have bought the games for 20+ years.
Addictive.
Necessary but most people will probably only buy a PS5 OR an Xbox Series Alphabet.
People will buy a Switch (or whatever comes after it) before getting the other one of the above two.
Weren't console games this generation optimised for PS4 though??
I mean, did they not look better or run better on stock PS4??
This is probably just paying a few bucks so devs don't optimise games for the biggest user-base, which MS knows will be PS5. Sony has momentum and they have a greater number of desirable exclusive franchises.
The art-style is so generic. It actually blew my mind how bland it is.
