Wow I bet no one didn't see this coming.. No word about the spiderman 3 bundles?
The first company to drop HD DVD support online, wow.. HD DVD sales must be doing piss poor for a company to take it out of it's warehouse. Ladies and gentlemen you are being to see what is called a ripple effect first blockbuster, bj's warehouse, Woolworths,and now Meijer. I have a feeling on October 30 with the release of Spiderman 3 this ripple effect can even get uglier for HD DVD.
Is this really a big deal? I mean blu ray players and software sales out number HD DVD 6-1 down under so adding it to there store catalog isn't really hurting blu ray. It may be a small win for HD DVD but if there sales can't keep up with blu ray in the next year you might see stores starting to drop support to make way for more blu ray titles.
The Wii fad is starting to be seen.. Give the kiddies a mario game and maybe 67% may go down to 25%.
I think he missed the part where PGR4 had to cut things out of there environment because there is just not enough room on DVD9.
The earth is about to die.. No new IP so all we're getting is 2nd rate bunked pc and junk box games. I have Lost Planet on my 360 and must say the game is short, and the online isn't really promising as some people talk about. Unless the PS3 owners are getting some more added levels or the graphics look way better on the PS3 than capcom talks out its A$$.

First before Resistance was released last november what was the best FPS on new gen? COD2? COD3? There was no good FPS and out of all the first person shooter that came out up until now I still believe RFOM tops them all. Halo is nice but it'short, and the graphics are even consider HD, it's more like ED.
I actually believe RFOM2 has more to gain than killzone2. Yeah Killzone 2 looks great but the first 1 sucked but Resistance Fall of Man is the number 1 selling PS3 game and 1 out 2.5 people buying a PS3 is getting resistance fall of man to go with it. RFOM made it's mark and Killzone is still trying to find it's identity
Insomianc release RFOM last year, and 11 months later release racket and clank. I'm pretty sure they can get RFOM2 out in nov.

There RROD problem is only scaring would be buyer off fearing after 3 years there consoles with may meet it's grave. Also the fact M$ is quick to drop the support of its old console is not helping their cause. Plus There is no way in our lifetime M$ will ever come first in a console race when there selling 1-2K a week in the Japanese market where there nearly giving them away.
The sales of Blu Ray and HD DVD is old news I mean not once has HD DVD beat Blu Ray in a sales. Whoever makes the next title save us the time and write This week, next week , next month, and next year Blu Ray, HD DVD sales and it will be the same every week, month, and year. The this format war is over sorry HD DVD fans not even $200 HD DVD players are saving you.
