I think you people got it all wrong it's the first one to DVD price movies wins the war. Why would an average peson buy a $200 HD DVD when the movies cost $30 and DVD are still $20. The main advantage of HD DVD was suppose to be cheaper movie price but when I go to Wal Mart is seems titles like 300 the HD DVD was price at $29.99 and the 300 Blu Ray is $24.99.
Edit: Yeah I made it. Just check out wal mart onlie site and than go to store.

Totally agree 1080P is here and while some people will saying you can't tell the difference th average joe doesn't know this, all they know is the guy at best buy told him 1080P is the best. Maybe Cdzie1 should do one of this website like he did with don't buy blu ray and inform the world.
Has Anyone see the blu ray/hd dvd movie space for both format at wal mart. HD DVD is lucky to have 10 movie while Blu Ray fills up most of the space. Than the questions begin "Excuse Sir I would like to buy this HD DVD player can you tell me where the movies are? Can I play these blu colored disks? Why is there more blu ray movies than HD DVD?"

Just went to my local wal mart and they started carrying Blu ray and HD DVD. There is only one problem there is only 10 HD DVD movies compare to like 50 Blu Ray movies. If anyone cares the Blu Ray movies at walmart are only $25 not sure about HD DVD there was just too much blu sticking out at me. Bye, bye amazon, and best buy hello wal mart. Well got my XBOX back yesterday only to get a message that says "This Disk can only be read by an XBOX 360. If it does come on the game freeze or just keeps going back start menu.
