Yeah, MS cornered the game market a long time ago. They were smart, but information has changed now. It'll be interesting to see how things adapt vs how the 90's happened lol.
That and they have download limits, so I'm sure people would rather a disc than a store.
Don't know, seems like a lot to me, but I'm not familiar with the exchange rate and averages already set there.
@Septic, "Microsoft helped bring a lot of positive changes to the industry if only you short sighted people could actually perceive it instead of going on baseless rants."
Look, I agree that there a few positives through competition fighting complacency. However, there have been a few greedy negatives that have come around due to these practices.
(Slightly Off the topic at hand) By July of 2013, MS pulled in $5.6 BILLION dollars from Live (total). ...
I think it's a funny thing that could ruin games if not used correctly. Especially in busy households, I'm sure a few people have been screwed over in dead rising already.
So the algorithms are just streamlined monitoring for moderation.
What's funny is I hear my roommates saying, "Xbox something-or-other" and I just laugh. Look it's debatably quicker, and I get why people use them right now...
The way I view it is that each syllable is about the same as navigating a menu by one click... I think it's new, but not really beneficial.
I'll wake my gf, my roommate, or parents.
It won't recognize what I say
It's just obnoxious to...
@gridloc
It saddens me greatly that you are right. Some retailers open at 6pm even. A holiday that used to be almost sacred is now just another greedy day.
I didn't take it as a negative. Took it as a funny.
The first half of the game has nothing on the second half. I bet most reviews that are sub 6 didn't get through the first few chapters.
Eh, I don't feel there is a difference in either's games experiences. Next gen? This must be your first console launch.
@angelicicedemon
You lost all credibility when you hit the fanboy part, you fanboy.
At the store I work at, no ps4s came back, no ones either. However, two controllers for the one came back.
Gesundheit.
I question the validity of this, but the average gamer is 32.. I don't mind hearing someone saying it. free speech. And should be able to upload.
There's a better way to moderate than this if it's true... example: give it a "mature rating" and allow parental controls to not allow the viewing.
@bird
Yeah, hence the power brick and large console box.
Says you too the guy that thinks a (speculative) 100 to 200mhz is going to make AI "dumber."
Still, Microsoft overclocked their system even while pushing a cloud structure... The only reason to risk overclocking is your competition.
Edit: I'm not talking about this article as it is... limiting at best.
The fact that Microsoft felt they needed to overclock says a lot to me.
I just assume people aren't sitting at optimal viewing distances when they spout comments like that out.

Esram is awesome. But 32 wasn't enough for the tools available.
Or a new version of windows which sucks (vista, 8)
8 was banned from benchmark testing, yet they keep pushing it on other devices.... xbox....
