Anyone here think GT6 also looks as good as forza 5? But with way more cars and tracks?
@mrcrimson
Free to play vs spending 60 bucks to even start.
I've played 20+ hours on planet side 2 without spending a dime. Fun as all Hell.
Maybe harsh rhetoric, but his point isn't that off-put.
Oh really? The developer vs the console maker? So you are saying MS is stealing from turn 10 to make up for policies they messed up?
Like Forza 4 similarities under a different policy would mean even more tracks and cars than had if it had been on xbone after e3 and prior to the reversals?
I agree, Bathyj, I think they're overrated.
Here's the thing about the kinect vs voice commands... You don't need the kinect for them, just a dang mic. Siri anyone? Google voice? Old school mac speech to text?
It's extremely bothersome that people make the association of voice commands to the Kinect and not just any microphone. GG MS Marketing, your PR team sucked, but your marketing campaign worked.
Except when your household is trying to sleep, then they all hate you :D
Edit: and there's no reason Voice commands in game shouldn't be able to happen over any mic, whether it be kinect, camera, headset, my samsung earbuds with mic... etc...
I don't know, breaking bad and rescue me are two of my recent favorites... I'm hopeful.

I hope naughty dog doesn't release a TLOU2. I'm sad about UC announcement, to be honest. I feel like a 2nd one could ruin the first. However, I would like to see TLOU ported over in an "HD" edition :D
Oh, and I love naughty dog, I have UC3 CE, and the Pandemic Edition of TLOU. Crash, Jak n Daxter (Games I Love), each were stopped with a generation, and I wish ND followed suit this time. I like their new ideas.
That's a good point, a 3-5 min tutorial and he points that out. Every FPS I've played does the "L-stick to move" thing, usually in a training camp lol.
Resogun is completely different as it's a different genre (Shoot em up) altogether. I hate when people who only play shooters decide to review something that isn't a shooter. Don't rate genres you don't play often or, especially, don't care for.
WarFrame is an RPG like old RPGs used to be. It's not until several hours in that you really see what you're playing.
A lot of the later missions are extremely hard, not to mention the r...
I retail games. I always try to find games people like... there are some games that I can say, "huge let down, so I can't say you'll like it."
A 4 out of 10 means very few people will like it.. and I honestly believe more people like Warframe than not. Reviewers are becoming opinionists who aren't helping people to find games they will enjoy, or skip the ones they won't.
Also, a completely free game? No buyers remorse if it's ...
Nintendo had always done what they wanted, and they have done well with their mission statement, whatever it may be.
@monkeydluffy
GameCube didn't (exactly) fair poorly. It turned a profit. The fact that people cat that system out AND it turned a profit is an interesting thing to say about Nintendo; not good, but not bad.
Wait, origin? Sony?
Whereas I agree with most of which you are saying... I think it's a little more complicated than that.
Quality is up to the studio, and gamers will know if it's quality. Quantity of studios means more fighting for your dollar. The quality studios will rise.
I mean, look at a bookstore. Authors are like game studios, it's about access of ideas; that's where the quality shines through.
The store I work at had 27 ps4s and 29 xbones. By 3am we sold all ps4 and only 8 xbones. By 8pm, we still had about 7 or 8 left from what I was told (I worked midnight to 8am.
He can't explain anything with one bubble
Uh... Dc > gt6 > Forza 5. Which game is last gen again?
Online only?
@Falviousuk
I think they are a guide and not concrete, yes. I just worked midnight to 8am for black Friday, I sold through 27 ps4s and 8 Xboxes. 21 Xbones still in the back. The store that I work at is heavy 360 and we were all surprised at the lack of xbone sales.
Sorry, the numbers might not be 100% accurate, but I think they are a close representation.
They don't mix them up, there's no "L" in their language and when they use their katakana alphebet to say foreign words, they substitute "Ra/Re/Ru/Re/Ro" for it.
That's the basics, there's a lot more to it, though.
