This comment confused me as everything I know as a retail person and n4g, kotaku (sadly), and more sites enthusiast points to around 100k (at least) ps4s out with them actually selling out faster as they hit those shelves.
Again, my story is: black Friday, Ohio.. heavy 360 based store... We had 29 x1 and 27 ps4... ps4 sold out by 3am and only 8 x1 sold by 6am. Not sold out by close, "about 7 or 8" from my boss' mouth.

Consoles per day vs first day sales... of course MS has the lead without averaging. Especially when NA to Sony meant Canada AND US... and NA to MS probably only meant US...
I mean, the best sellers list for most retail (online or stores) is usually market dependant.

I acknowledge that it's not the best, however, it's better than most. As an example, I remember the Kotaku review of the Vita streaming saying that they had a little problems at 2gbps...

The difference is that x1 wouldn't be in the top sellers after distributing 100k less consoles over 32 countries.

considering I 100%ed the SP in tomb raider, 1080p 60fps isn't enough for me to repurchase it at $60. I will wait for the $30-$40 mark... unless they fixed MP, I did want to do more of the MP, it was... just. so. broken.

How many units total world wide? Maybe Sony only sent 100k and ms sent 200 to that market? Maybe MS sends a lot of their consoles to Amazon?

I'm not saying Xbox is a bad thing, just saying Google tv and Apple tv are better. Ported games don't look as good.

Ps4 sold out by 3am. X1 sold 8 by then. When I asked my boss how many x1 were left at 8pm she said, "around 7 or 8; I don't get it."
