I think he means a convoluted cesspool of yearly iterations as development overlaps.
Edit: that once had so much backstory and potential but got dragged out to be a never-ending story to capitalize on any one time period.
Edit edit: I mean, think of all the fiction you can cover with assassin's creed... Spartan (more Rome), Greek, Norse, pagan, INSERT-ANY-RELIGION, society, or ORDER....
What if the animus can see the future, or paradoxica...
While it may not be survival horror, it's certainly dark, mysterious, and... action...ie? Lol.
I understand septic's remarks and most other's. Games aren't quite as genre defined as they used to be. Which is GREAT!
Play tv hasn't any plans to come west. I would kill to play certain vita games on my tv instead.
Zero, your right. But unfortunately people don't read more than the title and paraphrase.

The above link is why I'm trying to get myself out of comment sections.
If you don't want a ps4, why do you always say it had no games.
Oh wait, you can't log into both stores like I can to see the difference. Carry on in your ignorance.

@ alexkoepp, " piece of hardware that will replace almost everything else in your living room, sans TV, CB, and sound system if you have it."
It doesn't replace them. God, you sound like their PR. If anything, it helps access to them.
@johndoe11211
Well said. I often get classified as a Sony fanboy simply because I've hated ms since Windows 3.1.
I hate their PR campaigns and how people eat up new to directX ...
Yeah, gta4 took 8 months to come out on pc, so I figured it would be about June when 5 got it's port.
The fact is many non-gaming parents don't understand that these video games have what rated-R movies have had for awhile.
Let your kids play it, it's your right. However, it's also your responsibility to raise an upstanding member of society. Teach then, and be there for the game.
Eh, it's a Sony first party... honestly, after news of ps4 I'm surprised at the three games that came out on ps3: tlou, beyond, and gt6.
Also, in business it's supply and demand. Demand is there for tlou.
One more point: at least it's nd doing the porting and not a third party like most remakes.
Xenoblade is the exact reason that people shouldn't buy this.
Everyone was pissed with anti consumer decisions with Microsoft, why not this?
I worked at gamestop during the xenoblades debacle. I found it to be very experimental as they blew up the USED price to $90usd by SHORTING the supply themselves.
Then, during holiday 2013 they sent every store 15+ "preowned" copies to sell. They were actually just new copies converted to p...
Sony had hinted at crossing this hurtle... it was obviously important to them as their first party studios have been silent.

Crash owned by Activision... Why can't people wrap their minds around this?
Edit: the news will be in the buyout.
An upgrade option for $30 ish would be awesome.
I get your point about time, but sometimes it's supply and demand.
Digital is fine under specific pretenses... for example, SIM city on one hand. If you can't get you single player game after a service goes offline, then that person is an idiot consumer.
Single, dang, player.
They aren't junk if they still have avhs player. I'm sorry you trust everyone with your digital keys.. if they are drm-free and purchased legally, good for you. Otherwise, you are a cancer.
Not to say that chris is right or wrong, but every generation is like this. Even phones... generation isn't a literal generation, it's an instance in time.
How is this new gen any different from NES to SNES, or PS1 to PS2? They are very similar... dreamcast, however, might have been the exception, and we all know that sad story...
Isn't it a holiday 2015 release? So almost two years?
You forget the specs of the ps4's gpu in relation to it's competitors, and that they are pushing gpu compute...
Is anyone confused by the lack of citations and the terrible writing? Bad grammar and wrong spellings, poor organization, ect.
I'm a skeptic of this author/site based off of those alone.
