Cancelling an appearance at the biggest gaming conference on the planet means they are "gearing up for something big"? So if they cancel all announcements at all events does that mean they are planning something bigger? /S

Just imagine the shitstorm if it was Xbox skipping the biggest gaming conference on the planet.

Nobody can say this is a good thing. It devalues the conference for one, and hoping it's because they will have a separate event to announce ps5 is no excuse. They announced PS4 at a separate event in 2013, but they still "won e3" according to many on n4g. The whole industry goes to e3 to strike deals and network, dont they think that's something they need to do anymore? this move screams of arrogance.

Spoiler * Rdr2 is the best game I have played on any platform for many years. The ending to the main story was a gut punch, and I mean that in a good way. Then the ending to the epilogues was bittersweet, but we all knew how John's story turns out in the end. SPOILER ALERT* A story isn't good if it has a happy ending, a story is good because it takes you on a journey, and in the gaming medium, makes you immersed and feel like you are the character you play as. Everything in rdr2 sucks...

Nah, though, I admit, I didn't like it at first. But after some time I started to play it how it wanted to be played, and now it's my favourite game of the gen. Its very much like Witcher 3 in the regard that you get out of it what you put in.

ooh now that's a toughie. I abhor fantasy RPGs, usually, but w3 transcends it's genre and is so good and so big I took 6 months to finish just the main game. Add on to that the 2 dlcs each as big as a game and it really is something special. But, even though I've only been playing rdr2 for a week, I can already tell it is unique and massive. At first, I didn't get it, I thought it was slow. But now, much like I did with the Witcher, I've found my groove and am playing the ...

There's always (at least) one site that gives a wildly different score than the rest of the industry, if that was genuine critical opinion, it would be fine, but most of the time it's just for clicks in order to increase traffic.

You do realise you have no ownership over the data on the physical disc? Take your time and go read the EULA if you don't believe me.

Ok you just keep repeating the same drivel with different words. Xbox has taken a huge amount of market share from Sony even though they have been in the market for considerably less time. And fyi, I already told you, PS4 only had more aaa exclusive games in 2017/18, in 2016 Xbox had 1 more, and they had considerably more every preceding year of the rest of the gen. Keep fighting that imaginary fight for those rich execs you don't know though, maybe 1 day you'll be able to return home...

"Sony split their studios"? Lmao, do you think before you type? Both companies have a comparable number of 1st party studios now. Nothing you said was a coherent argument against what I asserted. And how are Sony dominating? In sales? I don't care about sales, and if you do you care about Sony's financials, you should be aware they are much worse than Microsoft's. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Tlofu: last gen. Ratchet: remastered. You guys go on ab...

Number 1 complaint from playstation fans about Xbox before e3; "thay Dona had enuff stoodeeooz to make xclusiv gaymes". Then, at e3, Microsoft buy or acquire 5 new 1st party studios, yet the same tired old people trot out the same tired old argument? Welcome to the post-truth era, where actions matter less than words. Remind me, how many new aaa first party studios has Sony opened/acquired this gen? Answer: zero. And fyi, the first 3 years of the gen, Xbox had more aaa exclusive gam...

They caved because genuine ps fans along with the rest of the industry, including developers and publishers, demanded they change their stance. Even rockstar, the biggest name in the business, wanted this.

Witcher 3 is one of the greatest games of all time, and that's speaking as someone who usually avoids fantasy RPGs. The Witcher 3 does that ever so rare thing these days and transcends it's genre. It is a game you don't lose hours or days in, but months and possibly years if you're a completionist. Now they are taking their undeniable quality to a setting style I very much prefer, I truly can't wait for cp 2077!

So buying a console on a 0% Apr cc is fine, but this isn't? Wtf? If you buy an x1x on a cc you don't get gp and gold included.

2717d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I swear, have none of the people ragging on this ever had a credit card? And its better than buying on a cc, it's 0% Apr FFS.

2717d ago 3 agree4 disagreeView comment

No, they should build the vision THEY have, and people who like it will buy it. No creator should change their vision to suit a particular viewpoint, other than their own. That's why games built for focus groups are crap.

Si I take it you don't have a credit card?

2721d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

From your comments, I assume your name refers to the fact that you have obviously played zero games? Otherwise, how could you write such drivel?

@gamerzero welcome to the 21st century luddite. You do realise you don't actually own a physical copy of a game either? Check the EULA if you don't believe me.
