No, i enjoyed the feel of the driving. Will i buy it? Probably not, i have GT5 and Forza 3 to keep me happy in that area.
Why would that make me a sony fanboy?
Oh, and how come when i look for a PSN ID "PHILBALNATION", it says it is incorrect?
Haha, this is exclusive to the PS3?
I never knew, that is really odd, i like to think i'm very much in tune with what is going on in the games industry, but this is the first i've heard of this being exclusive.
I have the beta too, its actually pretty good. Graphically, its no where near being a GT5, infact the graphics are a bit below standard but the cars are good fun to drive.
"The Bugatti Veyron will not be absent from Europe and we will be giving details regarding the availability of this vehicle very soon."
http://blog.eu.playstation....
Thats true. 2007 wasn't so good for the PS3 :p
2008 and 2009 is the PS3's, imo. :D
I think they could of at least held off on the Halo: Reach announcement till after Halo 3: ODST was released.
Woohoo!
I don't really think it is pirating that is effecting it as much, just that the PS3 is making up its software sales in europe.
It may seem surprising to us, but that is only because we see the US numbers - where the 360 holds the higher position. I'm sure if we saw the european software sales just like we see the US, then it wouldn't see as surprising.

It looks really nice. I have never owned a Zune before, but i've heard good things about them.
I would buy one but i recently paid quite a bit to upgrade to an iPhone 3GS from my original iPhone and can't really justify buying this since i get what i need from my phone.
Looks brilliant though, like i said. Looking forward to hearing more about it.
Its the 4th best selling game franchise of all time.
And who said the PC platform for gaming is dead? Pfft.
I love my iPhone, but it needs good controls before it gets anywhere near DS and PSP level.
Ever since the Killzone 2 multiplayer beta, i knew it would be one of my favourite and to this day, it is my favourite online FPS on the current gen consoles.
I did always think the single player campaign was great, but i have been playing through it again recently, after all the hype has died off and after i'm out of that "new game" mode where i just rush through it.
And wow, i am really appreciating how well crafted the single player campaign is, its bril...
Carmack is just like that, he is one of the few developers that loves talking about tech to the media, so it may seem unusual for him to say such a thing, but that is only because developers don't talk about the technical side of the games enough to the media anymore.
Agree. The Metal Gear Solid series is my favourite game series of all time.
Nah, its just the PSN is growing and developers can't afford to ignore it much longer without any payment from microsoft to cover the money they would get if they brought it out on PSN.
Yeah that is completely false, infact. It actually favours the PS3 version, all the big fighting game community's have the majority on the PS3 version over the 360 version.
Please, do it!
Honestly, not only do i want this game. But if it extends releases in 2010 it will of taken 5 years since the first showing of the game for its release!
I do think that the reason they are holding off on details about GT5 at the moment is because of GT PSP, they want to keep all the attention on that because they are in the middle of a big PSP Relaunch. After that is released, i bet we will hear a release date for GT5.
The App store was like that at the start too, what you need to remember is that if the Android app store takes off as well as Apple's then it will be more or less the same thing.
As said above, the playstation has never been about one franchise. Hence the reason sony have always had many of their internal studios start new IP's each generation.
Yes, there are exceptions to that, such as Polyphony digital and Guerilla games (But they havn't been with sony as long, so they have not had much chance yet).
