Ahh Runescape.. heh. I remember playing Runescape classic a few weeks before Runescape 2 came out. Which was early 2004.
Then i went back to it when Runescape 2 came out and i really liked it, great community that came from runescape classic (was generally older people) graphics and sound had a certain charm about them and everything was for some reason, really nice.
However, the thousands of 8 year old kids then rolled in, along with the gold farmers, which meant ja...
I've been using windows 7 as my main operating system since the beta first came out then moved onto the Release candidate that i am still using at this moment.
It really is what vista should of been, looks good, no compatibility issues, uses very little resources and runs very quick and smoothly.
I'll be buying it, not straight away but i'll be putting together a new PC at the end of the year, so i'll get windows 7 for that.
I own both 360 and PS3, i bought a 360 when it came out but was still in love with my PS2 back then, sold that 360 when the elite came out, sold the elite then bought another 360 Q3 2008.
I buy 97% of all my multiplatform games on PS3, i use my 360 mostly for exclusives. So no, i wouldn't say the PS3 is only good for exclusives, not at all - its personal preference..
I don't agree with exclusive content on games, if you're bringing out a game for multiple platforms, you support all those platforms as best as you can.
The only time i will agree to exclusive content is if technical limitations are stopping it from being developed on another platform.
Don't be silly, sony have been going since the 1950's, since then they have only posted around 4 or 5 individual years where they lost money, last year was one of them, which is understandable because we are in one of the biggest recessions of the last 100 years.
I do agree with the fact it is pretty impressive that the xbox is still staying strong though, i just couldn't believe how you could come to the conclusion of sony needing a bailout.
Microsoft are not stupid, they know and as they came in with the first xbox actually used to praise sony on how they managed their PS1 and PS2 console cycles.
They are adopting that method because they know it works and you know what, i'm glad this console cycle is looking to be a very long one. I want them to fully explore what they can do with online gaming so they can use that knowledge and take bigger steps with their next console.
I like that multiplatform games have improved on the PS3 because i have always bought them on PS3 over 360 (just a preference), no one can deny, even the hardcore PS3 fans that the PS3 did get the bad end of the stick for a long while when it came to multiplatform games.
There will always be better versions of games while there are multiple platforms, while the PS3 still does get its odd bad port here and there still, it has improved alot where now it is near enough even with the...
I'll be upgrading my my original iPhone to an iPhone 3GS this week and NOW i find out all this stuff is coming out the very same week?
I'm going to have to take out a loan just for all the PSN and XBL content being released within the next few months.
In the U.S, but remember MGS4 only sold 1.1m in the US yet had over 4.5m total sales worldwide.
I laugh at people being surprised at no PS3 game in the top 5 not hitting 1m yet, i wonder why that is?
Oh right yeah, the PS3 has a much, much smaller install base in the US!
If a slim PS3 was coming out this early then they would of shown it at E3.
There is possibility of them not wanting to take any attention away from the PSP Go announcement, but i still doubt they would go without mention.
Don't worry capcom, while mega man 9 is a brilliant game, i won't be killing myself over it.

Are you too stupid to realise that the warranty only lasts for 3 years? There are people who have xbox 360's that are out of warranty.

Sony didn't say they *wouldn't* pay for exclusives, they said that they didn't *need* to thanks to their first party studio's.
I don't really care for the price of live and do pay for it anyway, but the whole "13 cents a day" is absolute rubbish.
Its like me saying "The PS3 isn't expensive, its only 2 cents a day if you pay for it over X years".
Hence the reason sony always seem confident in the fact their console will end up in a good position.
I want to see some of the single player stuff, that is what most interests me. Not the MP stuff.
He isn't attacking the xbox, he isn't saying its corrupting the kids minds, he isn't saying anything bad about it.
All he is saying is that parents need to start restricting the use of it to get them into a routine.
Why the xbox? Well obviously because it is a popular thing among american kids. Its nothing more than that.
If these kids like playing with their toasters all day every day, then i'm sure obama would be telling parents to restrict their time...
