The reason everything is down except for 360 is because last week and the week before were 'Golden Week', a series of Japanese holidays. People are probably buying 360's in anticipation of Monster Hunter Frontier, and maybe a little bit because of that cool Bayonetta/Forza 3 bundle.
The Jasper chipset is 65nm. The rumored Valhalla chipset is supposedely 45nm.
Holy mother of god, the graphics are unreal. If it weren't for some of the crazy camera angles I would have thought those were real live races. And those were off screen recordings. Imagine how amazing they would look if it were direct capture.
The bump for PS3 this week is because of both Yakuza 4 and Torne, the DVR for PS3 that released this week. Very impressive numbers.

I've almost given up all hope on Cave Story. For crying out loud the original announcement had it coming out in quarter 4 of 2008.
I'm surprised at the lack of Guitar Hero Smash Hits on this list. Some of the trophies require some insane skill on both drums and guitar, like Bloody Feet and Raining Notes, or Hail the Rev (RIP). Not to mention getting 100% as a full band on a song.

Maybe in terms of character models but personally I don't think we're going to be seeing anything that beats Uncharted 2 in environments. Uncharted 2 environments are in a league of their own.
Microsoft isn't leaving Japan no matter how bad it gets there. If they abandon Japan Japanese devs will abandon them. That's not a risk Microsoft afford to take.
2 million for FFXIII is basically a lock at this point. It will probably hit it in February. Now can it outsell FF12 (2.4 million)? That's still up in the air but this week could potentially portend good things for it's longterm legs.
Singstar MJ isn't a cash in. IIRC it was being rumored to be in development several months before his death.
This is why I think 2010 will be PS3's peak year. If you were keeping track of the year on year trend PS3 was falling behind 2008's lousy numbers up until the price cut where it was down by over 1 million units from 2008 but in just a month and a half of the price cut they erased that decline and look how much the PS3 is up now. Think what 12 months at this price point will do.
I believe you can import it from Playasia or Yesasia. The Asian version, not Japanese version, is already in english.
If you have RB and like prog rock at all you absolutely must get The Complexity of Light. One of the best tracks to come to Rock Band in a while.
