I see that someone beat me to the punch. But the whole "wow factor" was one of the reasons that when Natal was first announced got better press than the PS3 Move. But what we're seeing now is the limitations of the 360 hardware and what MS wants the technology to do in a practical sense.

I played the demo and I liked it a lot. I was skeptical on how good it would be since it seemed like a really slow paced game. I did like Indigo Prophecy which I gave an 8.5 rating. But Heavy Rain seems like it's going to be a bit higher. Much more in depth and very detailed.
Seems like it's going to be an 9.0 rated game from the looks at the early reviews. And I would agree since the demo was very immersive! Especially the FBI agent.

Well, it's at the start of the game so it can prepare you for the later game when 1080p/lossless audio cut scenes. Then, when you come back to the game it's ready where you left off and never have to worry about using another disc.
It's just ready to play the full game. You might not like HD content. But FF is known for having great cut scenes. best to watch those on 1080p and the game in 720p.

I love it when the PS3 releases games that don't have much hype and surprise the industry. Valkyria Chronicles comes to mind. Now Demon's Souls!
