CoIJessup,

This is what beat writers do. They take a news from Sony announcements, puts "Sony: One Million PS3s Shipped - Not Yet Sold - in Japan" in the headline and then somehow attributes Sony as the source of deceptive reporting when it was the AUTHOR that wrote the headline in such a way.

Even the 2007 article states in much more detail that in fact they were SHIPPED numbers in order to avoid confusion.

Just add October PS3 sales to the 41.6mil number if you want to get an idea. But we'd have to wait for Q3 numbers to get the best tally.

But if you gave F3 a 9.5. What would you give F2?

Blame Fable fans. They are the ones that voted the scores. Apparently they liked Fable 2 better for good reasons.

Well, that's just it. They, being the casuals, that end up loving it at first start to get tired of it later when they actually get it home and play it for a few hours.

All this talk about "Minority Report" is like advertising for a James Bond like car with machine guns, missile turret, waterproof submarine ability, oil slick, and mines. Then you get the car home and it's just a regular car.

Let down.

Nothing.

The whole idea of controller-less motion tracking is a fail. There is nothing immersive about it since you remove the whole idea of force feedback or tactile response. You lose the sense of actually feeling an object in your hand whether it be a wand, sword, or gun.

The initial reaction that people have regarding hand and body tracking is a novelty. Once you use it for a few hours the allure wears off since it's nothing more than a prototype gim...

It's embarrassing to watch these weak actors shill for this product and make themselves look like fools. Amazing what people will do and say for $$$.

The more 5/5 reviews the better. It's like having a review of a car that promises James Bond like technology. Then, when you get it on the road and actually start driving it fails to do as advertised (James Bond gadgetry and underwater submarine travel? Nope. Just a normal car that is kind of buggy.).

There will be a consumer backlash. Mark my words.

Preview demo given by Microsoft rep...says so in the article UPDATE.

"However, CVG understands that the review was based on a hands-on with the kit orchestrated by Microsoft, rather than an exhaustive product test. "

Gears = Unreal/Quake/Doom Series

Same weapon styles, same explosions, same enemies, same steroid-rage muscle bound marine jarhead soldiers.

stonecold3,

The article wasn't about Naughty Dog porting UC for the 360, but rather getting their own developer to do a UC style game.

It wont happen. Since the audience for 360 fans are high-school drop out doofuses whose world knowledge is limited to "blowing things up," "head shots" and saying "PWNED BEEEYACH!" You know, the dumb-asses of American teenage society? Them. And those type of kids hate anything that requires th...

All you have to do is look at the yearly trends in sales. They are dropping for the 360 and rising for the PS3. Each year it gets better for the PS3.

Uh, just a little side note....but Sports Champions UK sales are standalone of this game. Why would any person buy the standalone game when they get the very same game in the starter pack? The 38,000 are the ones that already had a PS Eye and bought the Move controller and this game separately.

Wanaraceu,

The 360 was out a year earlier than the PS3 and has only a 4 MIL lead world wide. In the US, the majority of gamers tend to like shooters. So, of course the 360 took advantage of this.

I mean, think about it. American's like to "blow shit up." That's the typical American male teenage mindset. That's why they love MW and MOH games.

Typical brain dead American male. That's why it's so easy to lie to the...

@shutupandplay,

Sorry man! But read the article again. Since the Moves launch we already have preliminary numbers of 350,000+ Move bundles sold in the first few weeks in the USA only (over 100,000 Sports Champions in the first week world wide)! This bundle INCLUDES Sports Champions, which is the basic starter game.

Please stop acting like consumers aren't able to read display signs that show bundles that INCLUDES Sports Champions next to the standalone ga...

@gamingdroid,

The two companies that were licensed and acquired by Microsoft are PrimeSense and 3DV Systems. It was 3DV that went to Sony then Nintendo first to showcase their camera motion sensing. And they both passed on it for technical and cost reasons.

Just saying developed "in-house" is just play on words. All that happens AFTER the aquisistion. Then MS can just stamp their logo on it. Simple.

As far as Sony and Nintendo, the ...

I just got the PS Move Bundle a few hours ago and I love it. I was a little worried about the tracking when I was setting it up during the menu screen. The pointer has a bit of lag and a second delay -- during the game selection screen. But when you actually start the game and calibrate it's pretty spot on.

Not sure which one is my favorite game; I kind of like the disc golf, gladiator duel, bocce. But archery and volley ball and table tennis seem fu...
