I played the BS demo and I liked it. It brought back memories of the Unreal Tourney games but with extra effects and point mechanics.
But as far as replacing conventional shooters like MW2 or KZ. No, it's not going to happen.
One of the employees that created the sign works in the clothing department and has no clue what game company makes what.
Looks like a Costco or Kmart.

Well the problem w/the first PSP release (2004-2005) was that they touted that it would be essentially a PS2-on-the-go and, you are correct in that that's what they are doing today with the NGP except it's the PS3-on-the-go.
But what's different? The PS2-on-the-go sounded good (marketing wise) but it never worked in-real life because they lacked the 2nd analog stick! At least this time the PS3-on-the-go idea will actually work right f...
Try as they might, Microsoft always trying to spin using physical controller as a negative will backfire. Many times using a controller, even in motion, is better than having nothing. Especially with Tennis or Guns. I rather have a wand or plastic gun in my hand when doing Jedi or Soldier type games than pretending I'm holding something. The tactile feedback makes the experience better. You can't just say, "you're restricted to holding anything in ones hand." BS!
...
lol true. Move is perfect for tennis/court type games. Very effective. Top Spin is another one.

The birth of XBox Live, and it's early troubles and Sony rush to catch up. But the 3 years of the PSN is the same as the guinea-pig of a service on Xbox 1. This is what the first 3 years has been for Sony's PSN. And even then, they've managed to come into the market where broadband is mature and no where near as bad as the first try that the Xbox Live was on xbox 1.
darkride66 is correct. Microsoft is throwing everything an...
Here's DK286K's point (or misdirection, rather). He saying that in light of the past PSone and PS2 performance, the 360 has done well considering (which I will give to him). But that's ignoring the facts that the PS3 was $600 at launch, had few top titles for the first 18 months, buggy PSN store (beta), and still managed to catch up in world wide sales. Lets look beyond the numbers...an unquantifiable number: Those that LOVE SONY! Measure that on a scientific calculator! They pref...
Ninja Theory should create Heavenly Sword 2, but just give us jumping and platforming. That's all it missed. Jumping and platforming. I mean, at least to the level of Uncharted series. HS was more linear than God of War! :O So, they need to give us more freedom.
I'm glad they have the botzone on the beta. I need to have a place to practice. lol
Yeah, I ignore these reviews because most of the ones that give it 6 or 7, if you actually read their review you can see that they skip over soo much content in their review...of course they give it a lower score. What's my score for this game? I give it a 8.3.
As long as they keep updating content in the game; both lowbie content and end-game.
Heh. The moment I read "incredibly repetitive button bashing action" I knew this reviewer doesn't know how to play is character. Let him trying button mashing if he was healing hardmode or in a pvp battle with a non-n00b. I dare him.
Either way, I was thinking that there's wasn't that much end-game until I actually looked into it. Currently I'm doing duos (which are two man instances). And getting ready to re-spec my character to a proper DPS. I'...
4.5 wasn't the reviewers speed run. It was a theoretical time (4.5) based on the total of his best tries each level. One could achieve this time if they never died. Which he did many times.
This is only for used KZ3 games.
Uh guys...Tom "Foot in Mouth" Hopkins misinterpreted the "best time" number and forgot to include the deaths + cut scenes.
So, basically what Tom is trying to say is that theoretically if you played the game your first time you could rush thru the game in record times as long as you didn't die (no practice allowed of course) also you'd have to subtract 70 min of cut scenes. Yet, he spins this to mean that the reviewers "first time play through...
Dorwrath,
Re-buys from both side of the fence is trying to make the number between 360 fail rate and PS3 fail rate equate each other. They are NOT equal. The RROD problem from the first 18 months was up to 54% fail rate prior to MS offering a warranty replacement. Even if the fail rate was reported at the lower 33% that lasted well into 2008, the numbers of re-buys would have been well over 8 MILLION. And this is for people that only bought two 360s putting aside the ones tha...
Estranged,
I think you need to read the Ihateyoufanboys reply. I've seen your type of logic. And it's flawed. You draw conclusions on a faulty premise: And that piracy is what caused a lack of software sales on the PSS. Sorry, but the PSP feature design (in spite of piracy) caused the lack of sales on the PSP.
I too own a PSP 3000 and I only own about 7 games for it. The PSone, PS2 and PS3 all have their share of piracy. But what's different is th...
Just remember this, joining a pvp server just expands the action aspect of the game. But be warned, you will get ganked since the pvp is more open and the game forces you to do missions in the same areas as opposing pvp players.
It takes longer to complete missions -- you will die a lot -- so don't get frustrated. But still, it's fun and forces you to learn how to fight. :)
I joined a pvp server for this reason. I should have done the same for WoW fo...
Well said! I give the pocket-lint review a 3 1/2.
lol
BS is a good game. But he's making it seem as though it's going to take over the world or something.
