I agree with you, I'm looking around and aside from fixing errors and adding the ability to read new types of media (certain types of AVI's etc...) I don't see much of anything. You figured if you paid for a service, the least you could expect would be that the money went to fund upgrading that service. Call me crazy :)
You don't live in an alternate universe. I have around 19 or so buddies I hang out with. 9 have PS3's only, 3 have XBOX 360, and 7 have both. Only the 3 are on XBOX live. All the rest have PSN accounts and we love it.
No worrying about converting points anymore, no worrying about a yearly charge, and not as childish as far as a network in general.
Well, they might have had it, but PSN is free, I got ripped off for one year of XBL service. And now I'm with the superior service... It's like looking at buying a Jag, and someone telling you that they have one you can just have and they will do all repairs to make it just as good as the Jag you are looking at buying. That's what makes it better. My point was that it wasn't better TO ME before those elements were added. What's the difference now, except you pay and I'm don't? Very minute dif...
The problem with a Big guy like Jackson, killing a developer is that I hope he plans on using a gun... Because I'm sure the developer will :)
I think they will do just fine this year. I'm satisfied with the way things have been going (even though I didn't get 2.4 before they pulled it) and I think the game lineup for Sony and MS look fairly strong, especially if you own both. The pricing issue he spoke of... 399 is just fine for a system that offers as much as the PS3. Blu-Ray alone costs that much if not more standalone. They should quit complaining about price so much.
If he thinks that I want to play an RPG where I don't level up he's sadly mistaken.
I don't think we will not be seeing shaven or unshaven vagina's in any video games any time soon. Not sure how this constitues as news, this whole article kinda belongs in the open zone.
To me, they are already better. They included everything I missed from XBL with 2.4. I don't care about cross-game chatting, I care that games have trophies and custom soundtrack. That's all I asked for.
I was gonna say Groundbreaking and FPS, but UE3 I suppose will get you more agrees. I agree with you, UE3 really can't be groundbreaking, and they will really suprise me if they can pull off an original FPS that's not a Halo, COD4 copy.
I still play Persona, Odin's Sphere, Suikoden V, Shadow of the Colossus... the list goes on. PS2 is a great system, sure it's not as high tech as this gen systems, but it's got an AMAZING library of games. I play my PS2 a lot still.
It's possible for sure. It's only a matter of time before they create an HDD based emu for PS3 IMO. It would be sweet, but like you said, it's just a dream right now.
No matter what system it's on, they are going to have difficulty with this when they first implement it. Mark my words on that one.
Well, feel sorry for me then. I was at work throughout most of the day in question, they had just taken it down when I got home to update.
They pay Sony for the rights to get a timed exclusive on the demo. PSN will get the demo later on. It's to drum up Qore subscriptions. What is so hard to understand about this process?
Yes, I shall get the Naruto demo. I've been curious as to the mechanics of that game since I watched the videos.
This article only proves to me that they could Give us all ps2 emulation through software with ease.
HAHA!
Wilson would probably still accidently wreck his car or shoot a pedestrian in the back.
Yep,you are right. Don't forget SarcasticGamer is gonna squirt too. Between the two, I'd keep my eyes and mouth closed.
And another thing. It can't be that widespread, but, if they were able to get it to happen to one of their PS3s, they would pull it till they figured it out (shouldn't take them long).
Does look wiiesque. Genius wording I suppose gets you away with that.
You can look at it this way, PS3 is 400 now, so that's a big step, Especially if they continue to develop through firmware. It's getting better as it's getting older, not just the games. I think they will make a strong showing this year.
