Agreed, you have swayed my opinion. I said I would give the game a shot but I will reserve my opinion until I play it myself (Hopefully a demo). Good points. Bubbles to you!
"Take Two represents one of the four legs (along with EA, Ubisoft, and ActiBlizzion) that holds up the bed of videogames that we all sleep in." Actually I find myself in bed most often with Atlus games, Square Enix, and cheap ugly women.
It's a shame EA sucks as bad as they do. Take Two was a good company, but they can't buy them all.... can they?? :)
I used the scout more than the AWP, if I sniped, which usually I'm a XM1014/DE fella. When I'm not hopping around with Duel Elites. I haven't played since 2001 though :)
Anyway, useless list for the most part. It's not that he's wrong, just true for any online FPS.
I abuse substances, and I still make sence when I speak, so that argument can't hold that much water.
@Jukken
One minute he's bashing Sony, the next he's bashing MS, you are correct, it's hard to tell which one he owns. Maybe a wii :)
Just messing with you siligon, you argue intelligently sometimes and with proof, and most wii owners are either too young to know what posting is, or too young. (How's that for console bashing?) :P
Unlikely, sure. Does MS have the capacity to do something like this?? You bet.
I hope you are right super, I would love for this game to be as good as it sounds. It is my cup of tea as you put it, I just hope it's 50 hours of gameplay. Maybe he's zipping through it, doing none of the side quests.
I suppose that I put myself in a reviewers shoes when I read a review. And if a game took me 10-12 hours to beat, that meant I left no stone unturned, took every path, and raped every monster nest on my way to the end. Then I'll take a different approach on my se...
I am in total agreement with you. You took the words right out of my mouth.
You can disagree all you want with me, 10 hours is not gonna satisfy my lust for an RPG, 10 hours is a renter RPG. That's it. You might be able to dress differently, but he speaks nothing of a lot of side quests to fill in more time, it's just a straight 10 hours. Now that's fine if that's what you want. But my attention span is longer than that, and I think if your gonna make an RPG, make it long and have a great story.
It looks fun, I'm not arguing that, just doesn't look l...
I love your name QueefyB... Hillarious.
@Jukken
The problem isn't that Siligon is "Silly" he's just REALLY opinionated. Although I do like the play on words. I see him make good points sometimes, just to be followed by slurring something or someone that doesn't really make sense if you just think about it for more than a second. You are too level headed to be stuck over here jukken, I'll be glad when you are back over <------ Talking again :)
I'll be playing it, I don't know when, maybe after the price drop or buy it used. There will be a lot of copies returned being short as it is. It sounds good though, looking forward to it.
That was a good read. Interesting article. No flaming, I liked it.
Yeah, it would be nice to play an interactive game where you run into a shop and punch Mclovin in the face.
It does add a Wireless router to the Xbox, which is not a common function of the PS3. But it leaves off blu-ray, so really you are looking at adding about 200 to every number for Xbox, subracting 100 for a wireless router.
He says that Sony is making comsumers "Buy the farm". That's true, but it's either that, or take advantage of people by making them buy amazingly high price accesories. Some of us want to save our money, and spend 500 now, than wait and spend 800 la...
Blu-Ray is most certainly advantageous. It allows PS3 users the ability to watch the latest movies in HD... What's so hard to understand about that. Plus, 5 gig install is nothing on a 320 gig HD. Especially considering that you have games like MGS4 that the 360 isn't even capable of playing. Next gen will be better for all gamers because the 360 HOPEFULLY will have an interchangeable HD and a Blu-Ray drive in it. That way, they won't have to dumb down games just to work on the inferior conso...
This works well on my PS3, it depends a lot on how you initially set everything up on your CPU. Sometimes it gives me error messages, and then plays the file. It's a weird process sometimes, but almost all of my video library (600 gig) has worked so far. South Park seasons tend to have a little trouble as well.
I own this movie, and this game is fun. I enjoy trivia in general. Just start supporting most of the discs and this could easily take off.
I am a fan of anything with big hits. NHL Hitz was fun as he!! and Blitz has always been fun. Just love the damage you can inflict.
Well if this rumor is true, I'm gonna buy another one last January :P
Sure they have a choice.
Sony doesn't have to drop the price because the system they offer is so much more advanced and easily upgraded. You can get a 60 gig pro all you want (which won't happen, at least not at first) and you still can't beat the fact that it can't play Blu-ray, it is limited in the size of file that it can trasfer so you can't get the Siren or other original episodic games coming as of right now.
They have a choice because, in reality, Sony's...
It's true, not that big of a blow in my eyes. I thought the last GTA was starting a downhill turn anyway. San Andreas was so much fun, and this one wasn't worth the wait. This will be a blow to the industry if they keep this up however. If they buy Atlus or Squeenix, I'm out of gaming for good. :(
