Looks really good. Faces, lighting and acting are all top notch.
The phantom 'jaggies' that seemed to plague and ruin some posters life in here did little to hamper my enjoyment even viewing on a screen 3 times the size of the little Samsung...

They don't design and build the games separately on each platform.
They make it on one and squeeze it onto the other, refine it to a playable state and sell it.
To get the game running is one thing on the PS3 but to get it running really well is another. Do multi platform parties invest the sort of money that was spent on Killzone trying to add the extra shadows, trees and few frames?

This demo is very good though (although the subject matter is rather convienient and the flaws are kind of obvious during complicated scenes), great for a streaming service for those who just want to watch the film.
Exactly KnaveX, there is a real flavor/pattern to this and many other articles on digital foundry that is hard to ignore (go have a look).
They pick the best PS3 games and attempt to find any fault possible to expose while never doing so with any 360 exclusives. I don't want 360 nit picking either, just some analysis would be nice.
A balance of compliments of impressive engine optimizations and musings of possible solutions to seemingly impossible scenes would be more to...

The 360 is better than the PS3. The PS3 is better than the 360.
Both statements are true to a certain degree but if you remove all the games then they are both crap pieces of plastic.
If you only keep the exclusives then both are better than one.
If you only keep the multi platform games then whatever you happen to own will suffice.
If you want the best version and the choice of every game to play then become a true gamer and buy so...

I really hope that those are not 'photo mode' shots on Forza 3 because the lighting seems to at last have improved over the previous game in making the cars look part of the scenery.
The footage from that in game video released yesterday was far inferior and I hope that was due to being off-screen. All it needed to lose from Forza 2 is the flat, toy car look.
I want to believe the hype and think that Turn 10 have taken a step up in the visuals dept toward the competitio...

The score is the other way round now. Either way, it does not effect the outcome as to which game is really the closest thing to the real thing.
Most people who play the game have never even been on a track and even those that have are pretty ignorant as to how to get a good lap but it sure is good fun pretending!
They deserve to have a place as they never got anywhere near their peak in terms of graphics, sound and story telling. Some of my most memorable games have been adventures over the years.
