I'd certainly get one if the price is right (assuming it will run ALL Steam games and it's cross-compatible with Mac/PC). If not then I will just pony up for a nice computer that can run games on it.
I'm content with that. Historically Pokemon RPG games aren't quite as good. But yes, I will gladly take Snap 2. Add in some DLC and the ability to post your pictures on Miiverse and boom, insta-buy.
That's why I make a point of NEVER selling any game or console I have any real attachment for. For example, I will never sell my copy of Brutal Legend. Or my Wii U. I might sell my Wii and replace it with a Gamecube though (since my Wii is now technically inside my Wii U).
I certainly would not put it past them. Capcom is not exactly my go to publisher for digitally distributed content.
I'd say my biggest gaming regret is trading and selling much of my video games and consoles prior to my Wii and PS3. Many, MANY regrets for not having a GCN, 64 and so on.
@cl1983
What are you talking about? One of the weapons used in the Sandy Hook shooting was an assault rifle. Two of the handguns used had the capability to fire five bullets a second.
@Ares84HU
That's incredibly narrow minded. ALL gun control laws will be that restrictive? Really? You honestly don't believe that there can be any reasonable gun control of any kind that does not inflict on the rights of any law abiding citizen?
Isn't this one of those "cross-buy" games Sony offered? Why not just get the PS3 version and get the Vita version for free?
Or does the process also work in reverse?
@TrendyGamers
My point stands then. I imagine it would be a far better value to get the game on the PS3. That way if you have a Vita (or the intention to buy one) you can get the digital copy at any time.
Capcom + Free DLC?
There's something fishy here.
Can't we at least acknowledge that it's too easy for said psychopaths to obtain automatic weapons (or really any type of weapon)? I don't see what the issue is in applying SOME restrictions. Gun control is not the same as gun bans and if the idea is to let law abiding citizens collect guns as desired while keeping it out of the hands of adverse people, then why even fight the issue?
@AO1JMM
SOME DO. The man who shot Gabrielle Giffords and several ...
No offense, but citing Jim Sterling is like asking your dog to write you a letter of recommendation.
I've heard of a few technical issues with the buttons and compatibility. Still looks nice though; I want to try it for myself at some point.
I played the demo and I hated it. I don't care to enjoy something just because you or someone else has a problem with my view on it. I think the demo was garbage. What can be done to sway me at this point?
Don't they technically do that in the 3D games though? Part of the point of the NSMB games is to take the player back to the simpler gameplay and atmosphere of early Mario games. They're throwback games.
The 3D games have done different things though. SM64 gave us a new outlook on Peach's castle, Sunshine outright took us away from the Mushroom Kingdom to Delfino Island and Mario Galaxy took us into space (not to mention there are subtle but significant difference...
You mean ports that were made on changing hardware in less than a year? Yeah, those would totally look LOADS better than their current generation counterparts.
@Krimmson
I suggest you watch Indie Game: The Movie. Phil Fish is not TOO bad of a guy. He's just a normal fellow who seems to have a hard time conveying his messages without seemingly insulting someone.
So I don't mind those quotes too much. The "Japanese games suck" one is what irked me the most, and that was without a great deal of context.
@ALLWRONG
Does that mean the thieves should get off with nothing? No, I think they should be tried and properly convicted. That's the point here.
No thanks. I'll probably be sticking to something a little less stupid and juvenile.
Damn, Rita's really losing her touch if all she's doing is having you sell stolen game consoles.
Some are and they get lambasted for their views. Sometimes it's justified, but no developer wants to lose potential customers for saying one dumb thing.
Phil Fish comes to mind.
What game console has ever done that? Wouldn't that basically just be a Sony branded computer? Also, maybe Sony shouldn't focus on making a kickass processor, considering how badly the Cell CPU hurt the PS3.
