Dude... even you know you're wrong.
Red Dead is going to be backwards compatible - it was top of the 'most wanted' list and it runs on the emulator... MS wouldn't be working on it if they didn't have Rockstar's permission, because that would be a waste of time and money (and potentially grounds for litigation).
It'll probably be announced as a Games with Gold title for February or March - hence the 'retraction'.
The cross-play should open things up friends-wise, but lone wolves are probably gonna suffer... that said, I have a couple of mates who were playing DayZ together and they were able to join an established group of players with some good old-fashioned non-violent communication.
They learned that by sharing their gear, pitching in with duties (this crew had patrols, foraging parties and a frikkin' chain of command!) and behaving like decent people are great ways to build tr...
Campo Santo have said they'll look at porting Firewatch if it does well (which it will) and Jonathon Blow has basically said the same thing about the Witness (which seems to be selling well, despite it being pirated to the eyeballs)... I could just buy the PC versions, but both titles look like 'console' games (best played on a couch, with a controller and big TV), so I'm gonna hold out and see what happens.
I recommend PS4 owners do the same with 'The Lon...
I bought the 360 version of Fez, then pirated the PC version when I realised that the console versions weren't ever getting patched (the 'legend' of Phil Fish was news to me) - it's the only time I ever pirated a game, but I consider it a matter of compensation as opposed to stealing.
That said, Jonathon Blow is getting robbed... the guy puts years of effort (not to mention ALL of his Braid money) into The Witness - a complete, fairly priced game - and he gets...
It's an advertising agency hiring non-union actors... they're probably making a commercial, similar to the live-action promos that were made prior to Wild Hunt's release.
It might be for the Blood and Wine expansion, or Wild Hunt's Enhanced Edition... whatever it is, it'll be promotional - not a TV series.
They're brilliant - better than the games in a lot of ways... most of 'em have been translated into English, though there are a few where you'll have to rely on fan translations, which are mostly great, but can get a little confusing (grammatical errors, misspelt/repeated words etc).
Apparently someone's making a live-action series of films based on the books, but I don't know when that's supposed to happen.
He wouldn't be much of a lead writer if he didn't believe in the quality of his work, but that's still a big call... I absolutely loved the main game's storyline - I'd just finished Sapkowski's novels (and the first two games), so for me it was the ultimate culmination of an intensely Witchery year.
Getting the 'best' of the 30-something endings on my first playthrough was incredibly satisfying.
Hearts of Stone was like the...
Touche... I skipped straight to the end of the article (wanted to see what platforms it's coming to), but actually do seem to recall seeing dialogue options in the early gameplay vids.
Great 'news'... I got up way too early today.
Seems like a large script for a 6 hour game... unless the game has story choices/dialogue decisions, but I haven't heard anything about that.
Somebody should try making that hyper-immersive VR game 'Roy' that Rick and Morty were playing at Blips and Chitz... sure, it'd take several lifetimes to build, but it'd be worth it, if only to secure funding for 'Roy 2'.
There seems to be a bunch of people living under the delusion that WiLD will be a 2016 game - it won't... and I'd bet money on Mass Effect: Andromeda and Horizon: Zero Dawn both slipping to 2017.
Pessimism ftw!
Solid list... I'd add Code Geass, though I can see how it would be difficult to make a game from such a series.
Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D are great choices - I reckon Platinum's the only dev even remotely capable of capturing Alucard's madness, but I don't know who I'd want making a Vampire Hunter D game... I suppose From Software could do it if they took their time and made some alterations to their Souls template (a larger, more varied world with a...
Yeah, it's called 'Lazarus' and I reckon it's one of the best songs of his career... the video's a touch prophetic, but it wouldn't be Bowie if it wasn't ahead of it's time.
RIP David... Ashes to Ashes, stardust to stardust.
They must be getting close now... it's wierd - they've spent years making this game, but I still can't distinguish between the old and new footage.
I'm still as eager as ever to play Below (Charla's interview makes me wish I had it now), but I wonder why it's taken Capybara so damn long to finish... I know they're a small team and I'm all for devs taking the time to do it right, but these guys make the No Man's Sky dev look like bloody Ubis...
There it is... that's EXACTLY the sort of batshit crazy, mouth-foaming drivel that makes N4G great.
Did you know that all of Xbox's holiday exclusives (Halo 5, Forza 6, GoW Ultimate and Rise of the Tomb Raider) have each sold over a million copies? Do you know what 'flop' means?
As to The Order 1886, did it ever occur to you that the PS4's meager exclusive linup was precicely the reason it sold so well?
THINK about it...
He's my new favourite (trolls are cheap fun)... his name couldn't be less-appropriate.
Well, she's delightful... the game sounds cool (she describes it as a sort of Silent Hill/Ghibli hybrid), so here's hoping development goes well.
That's what people said about Driveclub, The Order 1886 and Uncharted... You say production ramped up after KZ:Shadowfall (which launched Nov 2013), which means they've only really had a couple of years of full-steam development - that's not nearly enough time, especially for a dev that's never worked on this kind of game.
2017... MARK MY WORDS.
Life is Strange deserves all the awards - never thought I'd see a game that did what it does... beautiful and brutal.
Yeah, I like the whole concept - sort of looks like an isometric version of 'The Long Dark', but with co-op... I wonder how long the other survivors will tolerate my (fully-sick) Liam Neeson impersonations?
Probably not very long... still, I'm thinking people are probably more nutritious than mutated wolves, so I might just opt for some pre-emptive cannibalism.
