You care... you care a lot.
Installing... INSTALLING!!!!
According to Metacritic, Polygon's reviews are on-average 1.4 points (out of 100) lower than the actual metascore... that's not bad.
And what about GlitchFreeGaming?
They gave it a 7... are they corrupt?
Dark Souls is a MULTIPLAT series with a reputation as one of gaming's most challenging experiences... it's not gonna appeal to everyone.
This review notes it's technical issues (that FromSoft engine still can't hold 30fps on consoles) as well as it's 'unsurprising' gameplay... and since when is 7 a bad score?
Just admit that you can't stand the thought of Quantum Break scoring higher than... anything.
Hard to say if it's fake or from an early build... Tech-demos almost always look 'crappy' - the first leaked video (which appears to have been produced for an 'industry-only' presentaion) had similarly basic-looking demonstrations for meteor and barrel explosions.
That said, the E3 trailer appeared to show the player's ship moving through space without relays, so yeah... could be fake.
Yeah, I'm not so sure... DA: Inquisition was great, but Wild Hunt was better, and Cyberpunk 2077 will be even more ambitious.
The original ME trilogy was undoubtedly the defining RPG of the PS360 era - importing saves was a literal game-changer, whilst the characters and story beat the hell out of Bethesda's games (which, aside from dragons/vertabirds, haven't done much to evolve the Oblivion/Morrowind formula)... that said, Bioware have since lost several key mem...
Looks like the citizens of the Milky Way have been busy in the post-reaper era... the 'mothership' from the N7 Day 'signing off' vid looks like a portable Citadel, and these 'relays' appear to have a 'start-up' routine - might be that players will be tasked with placing (or at the very-least activating) them throughout Andromeda.
If it was anyone else, I'd agree, but Shinobi's track-record speaks for itself... I can't think of an instance of 'him' ever being wrong.
If 'Shinobi' says it's real, then it's real - 'he' was the one who leaked the original survey revealing Andromeda's location and other details... according to 'him' this leaked footage was from a 2014 build, and the game's come a ways since then.
So long as it retains that ME1 vibe, I'll be happy - I played that game so much that I was able to pilot the Mako with actual competence... that said, I'm glad they're adding jetpac...
I still think it's a gimmick... just look at the 'games' - everything I've seen is a seated/static or on-rails 'experience'.
Won't take long for devs to run out of ideas with those kinds of design restrictions... not-to-mention the 'toned-down' content (noone wants 'heart attack' lawsuits).
It's gonna take years for VR games to be as good as (let-alone better than) their traditional videogame counterparts... Sca...
@Cas - Apparently Hololens is VR-capable.
Well said... personally, I'm just happy that there are still devs who are willing to push the envelope and evolve the medium.
I imagine 2016 will see more of these mixed reviews when games like No Man's Sky, Crackdown, For Honour, the Last Guardian, Sea of Thieves and the Tomorrow Children launch.
Ryse: Son of Rome was 720p and it won the 2014 SIGGRAPH award for graphical greatness... pretty sure The Order 1886 won for 2015 - another sub-1080p game.
Uncharted will probably win this years, but it's not as though it looks miles better than Quantum Break... or are your standards really that high?
Cos the X-files avatar suggests otherwise... did you see that last season?
@Yoda - 3 points out of 10 (or 30 out 100)... significant margin of error, it is.
According to metacritic, these guys' reviews are on-average almost 3 points lower than the actual metascore... seems they like to hand out 100's for certain games (Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe?!) and $#!t on everything else.
Amen to dat... Can't wait for Tuesday!
Seems they've been working on the 'sequel' for a while now... I heard it was gonna be a MMO like DayZ or H1z1, but I'm hoping it's more than just that.
State of Decay would be the perfect candidate for a suite of cloud-processed mechanics - destruction, realistic weather systems, persistent item/resource tracking and supermassive hordes of zombies would be a real evolution for the genre... that said, I'd still be happy with a regular old sequel for Sta...
What?!
Wasn't free on PC or Xbox, so why would it be free on Playstation?
You realise this is a Square Enix game, right?
They're not exactly renownded for their generosity... look at the FFXV: Episode Duscae 'demo', RotTR/Hitman's absurd release schedules and Deus Ex's 'augmented' pre-orders.
I imagine it'll be similar to Alan Wake, which had popular music playing on jukeboxes, radios and at the end of each of the game's chapters... served as a nice contrast to the traditional, ambient OST.
You probably have to install it in order to verify ownership... do that and Microsoft should send a Win10 store code to your xbox.
