trophies will be mandatory at the start of 2009. sony of course didnt want to suddenly force currently in late development stages games to have them, that would have pissed off a lot of devs that have to beat deadlines etc.. i mean, it's pretty understandable.

i've been playing FC2 on my ps3 and i really havent seen any framerate hitches. it plays MUCH smoother than most other open-world games (GTA, Ass Creed, Oblivion etc). i'm VERY happy with the framerate. i dont get it.. is the 360 even more smooth, visibly?
ALSO, has anyone compared the POP-UP issues? because from what i've seen, it looks like the 360 version has more pop-up, i could be wrong though, but knowing that it runs from the HDD on ps3 and doesnt have any major pop-up iss...
yea i kinda agree, a lower resolution would allow for more objects on screen, better framerate etc.. i'm one of those people who really couldnt care less if there are a few jaggies, as long as the game has lots of stuff going on at once (GTAIV for example).
on topic: i bought FC2 for ps3 yesterday and i think it looks FANTASTIC. it's smooth (i havent seen ANY framerate issues) and crisp (am i wrong or is the AA pretty good compared to many other games?), surprisingly good texture...

it's one thing when people say they just didnt like GTAIV that much, but to say it's "terrible".. that's just sad. you know it's not terrible, come on man!
the game has many great things going for it, and many people love it (including me). who honestly cares if you can't customize your car or hair or whatever?? GTAIV doesn't have excess useless crap, just the things that matter most (improved gameplay, hugely improved graphics, improved story etc).
