Idiots that buy the cards are just as much to blame. Up until the 2080TI, I bought every single top (TI) card going back to the 500 series. When I saw the price to performance for the 2080TI and ridiculous "ray tracing".... I said "nope". 1080TI it is, until a reasonable card comes along under 1k that beats it handily.... I don't give in to hype and neither should you.
lol. The original game can run on a toaster nowadays. It would easily be able to run 1080p/60fps with no drops whatsoever on the Switch....any game on the PS1 or PS2 would be able to run at that res and frame rate. The remake? Yeah, it wouldn't run so good... they would have to make a special Switch version for that but the original would easily run on the Switch with no issues.
