Yes stupid...why are you reading this? Go pre-order that 'ish!!! Even if you NEVER use it as a gaming device, it's already the best 4k Blu-ray player on the market and is $100 less than the next cheapest competitor....and it has HDR, and 4k Upscalling...so why wouldn't you if you game?
Jesus, the down play lately is ridiculous. Let I go. Its clear you don't NEED a 4k tv to see the difference. The VR, HDR, and ability to play more elaborate games at a constant 1080p 60fps are all reasons right off the top to get one....i love how the goalposts have shifted now.
So by the time you play it, Xbox gamers will be playing at again....on Scorpio. I can't feel sorry for anyone dumb enough to sell an Xbox (although I'd have to believe you actually had one).

Actually a very smart move by MS. Instead of funding the full game, they get exclusive rights for a year at a fraction of the cost...then after a year when the deal is up....Scorpio comes out....so for anyone with the option...there is literally NO reason to wait to play it on any other console. The whole idea of "waiting for a year for a more optimized version" looks ridiculous now. Why not buy the game on Dec 6th, play it for a year on PC and/or X1 if you want...then you ALREADY...
...and COD will switch back to MS. I mean come on, more powerful console, with more COD gamers, better network and controller...then multiple VR device options that can play the full game uncompromised. I'm sure there are already deals in the works.

Why? Sony had a whole 30 min section of their show where they showed multiplat games and didn't say anything. Not to mention...this time by the time it comes to ps4...scorpio may be out....so who really cares at that point anyway???? Anybody that'd wait to play it on ps4 would be making a massive mistake unless they had no other option

What mixed message? They were very consistent about it all being player choice. But the game once...play it anywhere. 3 consoles all in the same ecosystem...not one gets left behind...it's your choice. You can even design your own controller...its your choice. Scorpio will support multiple VR options its your choice. They also provided a varied line up of exclusive games coming this year (into early next year) what do you want to play?....its your choice. That can't be right...unless word got out that it's a long ways off (and so they are focusing on closer games knowing they can get to Days Gone later). Days Gone really surprised me, I'm very interested in this game (and God of War...I never liked GoW before, but I do like the way this one is shaping up). Some of those you listed are Multi-plats...and might be timed exclusive, but if those count...MS's list just got a TON bigger, and since many of those are on PC too....you're making it REALLY easy for the MS list. They didn't win, and DEFINITELY not last year. Exactly...already pre-ordered my Slim, and will be there day one for my Scorpio (and Rift) . The Slim is already the best 4k Blu-Ray HD streaming device on the Market and cheaper by almost $100 over the other options. MOST IMPORTANTLY it's an HDR device. At this point not getting one is ridiculous if you have a 4k TV.
You're actually cheering a 3rd party doing an exclusive? I thought gamers were supposed to hate that? ...and CG trailers that tell nothing about the game. I'll keep this in my radar...but really there isn't anything to it yet. MGS5 was great...but all the parts that were great were Konami not Kojima...what Kojima provided were all the weak points of the game...so I'm not ready to say it's a must for me yet.
God of War turned me from someone that never cared for the series into someone that really wants to try the new one...that being said. IN NO WAY does it look like a better game than Zelda.
