Wow, the Sony fanboy insecurity on this site is through the roof. EVERYWHERE ELSE, people are juiced about what they saw, but here, people are losing their fanboy minds cause they can't handle it. For those of you saying you don't want one and it wasn't a good showing, PLEASE feel free not to get one, true gamers will have a better time without you. I've always been a gamer on all consoles, but after that show, I seriously don't think Sony has a strong enough offering...

Watching Anthem running on an X1X on a 4k TV is THE most impressive video game experience I have ever had.
Shut up and take my money!!! Not only will this be the best place for all multi-plats, but that line up of exclusive games (timed or otherwise) was fantastic!!!! It wasn't just weak games that were exclusive, at least 90% of those games were "I MUST HAVE"!!! There were some I had absolutely no interest in though. Now my problem is trying how to figure all those games in.

I don't think they matter nearly as much as they used to...at least to me. It seems more and more to me that games that score extremely high are often games I have no interest in and ones I am interested in don't always score very well. It also seems like niche games such as Persona 5 or Nioh (which I am sure are great games...not taking a dig at the games themeselves) benefit from the fact that they are primarily reviewed by people drawn to those kinds of ....where as bigger games l...
Hopes are always the same...they show me games I get excited about. I'm happy about days gone and GoW, nothing else rumored or known has me super excited at the moment....but what would REALLY get me is a new Syphon Filter (or perhaps something completely new that would get me excited).
Fears are that Sony just shows more about what we already know about (and nothing new and/or only what is rumored). and that they continue their trend of announcing things 2-3 years out...

Well then the article would be much more reliable if they had accurate stats on the cost of the feature. As of right now they are labeling it a failure without proper facts to support the claim.
As always it's about what gamers want more than winning a day. Right now for me personally, I really only care about Days Gone and God of War from the Sony camp...everything else rumored or known is EASILY missable for me. Don't get me wrong, if there is a lull I'll play THOU2. But nothing else screams to me personally as a must play. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head that Sony could do to get me extremely excited is a new Syphon Filter. Just my opinion.
I want to see them do Too Human over again, but instead as a First person MMORPG. The original had some short comings for sure, but it had a fantastic setting, but if the re-imagined it by merging it with an engine like used for Destiny, it would be fantastic. Someone on Reddit actually mentioned a game today I would love to see, a Conker Kart racer "Conker Furza". Then the typical wanted games, Fable 4, Mech Warrior, SSOD2, QB2, Alan Wake (like mentioned here), etc.

I've spent more time playing BC games than I did playing UC4, and the BC games cost me less. Hell, I've played Black Ops 2 BC ALONE more than I played UC4...so by your own logic, does that mean UC4 is a failure?

Failing? How much does BC cost MS/Gamers? And how much do they enjoy it? Seems to me the cost to enjoyment ratio is a MASSIVE success....failure is not a word I would associate with this. Just because "you" don't like it doesn't mean it's a failure. I don't like JRPGs for instance (with rare exception) but I wouldn't say they are failures.

MS had a FANTASTIC show. The thing that seems to be giving opposition "ammo is actually that they showed SO MUCH that they didn't really focus much on anything.
