I know this won't be popular on this site, but lately it does seem rather accurate. Sony has had a long history of doing great things for gaming, but after taking an early lead this gen it seems like they have cocooned and are now holding things back...or at least a legitimate argument could say so. They now charge for the same online service that used to be free/the dedicated servers that bought are tied up behind a secondary paid service, they refuse to support crossplay to the level ...
I'll be very happy playing this game, I loved the first one and this one looks like it's shaping up very well. It's one of my most anticipated games, but to each their own.
I think 3 hours IS the speed run...they were saying the average playthrough would be 12-15 hours....not counting all the Co-Op and orb gathering.
Anyone trying to beat this game in 3 hours is doing themselves a disservice. It sounds like it's a lot like the 1st Crackdown, meaning you'll wanna run around and collect all the orbs and such instead. It sounds like the average SP playthrough will be about 12-15 hours each time.

Had plenty of exclusives I want to play...at least a handful before the next PS exclusive even releases. Not to mention all the 3rd party Multi plat games that will obviously be played on X1X

As a multi console/PC gamer....this "lack of exclusives" argument doesn't hold weight with me....on top of the 22 games that have some sort of exclusive deal and the fact that all those m ultiplats I'll play on X1X....combine that with the fact that like 95% of the games that MS showed will be out BEFORE then first heavy hitter from Sony releases at all...it just makes no sense to say that first party is the problem...it comes across as a fanboy view on the whole thing. <...

Nope not even close. MS destroyed PS this round. MS gave me plenty of reasons to be excited to play my Xbox....PS managed to make me less excited than I was. Almost to the point where with every thing I want to play on Xbox is making me wonder if I even need a PS at all

Not only are you wrong about all those things....but who cares if it's first party or Not? That is a fanboy argument. Bottom line is Xbox has far more games that should be played on their console than PS whether or not they made them. More to the point Phil has openly said that unlike PS he doesn't want to announce games years in advance anymore and that there are several 1st party games in development....so your argument took a fat shit

That's just it....they are showing EVERYTHING exciting for the next few years and barely did an hour show of primarily repeats and multiplat games that will be better on X1X. It's clear MS DID win this year. On top of launching an awesome new console at a price that bests computers that cost 2-3 times as much, but they proved that they took over the UNDISPUTED best place to play MulitPlat games (before at least there was a trade off between Best graphics on PS and Best Network/Controller/UI on X1...now it's ALL Xbox)....so in essence, EVERY MultiPlat game might as well be an Xbox game. If MS made ANY mistakes on their show...it was that they showed TOO M...
