They never ever ever said it would be every game. In fact they have gone out of their way to say it's up to devs. There are other ways to boost game performance other than simple pixel count. Chances are you aren't even looking at these pictures on a 4k screen. The real test is in motion...but I can already see that shading is much better on the X1X version
It's hard to tell any difference on my phone other than the fact that the shading appears to be much better on X1X. Both images being compressed (and probably not being viewed on 4k screens) wouldn't yield much difference...yet we can already see X1X has better shadows. Personally I honestly care less about native vs checkerboarding. I care more about other aspects and running smooth. Like A.C. Origins demo is a great example. My agenda is the same it has always been...to be a happy gamer. I have always been a multi-console/PC gamer. I first gamed on a commodore 64, then Nintendo, then PS, then Xbox. Dumbest logic ever considering the VAST majority of games that are played are NOT exclusives. It also just sounds weird being as there are more games I want to play on my Xbox before the NEXT PS exclusive I want to play releases...than ALL PS exclusives combined.

This game was really good, but Zelda was better.
Sweet, Horizon was breath of fresh air. I didn't care too much for the story myself, but the gameplay was great.
