All I know is I can't wait to get a hand on mine. Somehow now that I have mine pre-ordered the wait seems so much longer...and after playing COD Beta, it made me want my X1X even more.

I agree that the incendiary shells are a bit OP (but look awesome), however, it does seem that the kill distance with the shotguns is pulled back...so it's a draw.
So far I'm really happy with the BETA just a few minor tweaks IMO. The biggest thing they should do is nerf the PPSH, that gun is WAYYYYYY OP. It literally takes no skill at all to be top of the boards with that gun.

True, if you have a MASSIVELY powerful rig, you probably don't need an X1X...oh well...MS will live without those purchases, but the amount of people that own a PC with the ability to perform greater than an X1X is incredibly small....and even then, there is perhaps a chunk of them that STILL want an X1X...if you can build a rig like that, you have money and Play Anywhere is a neat feature for those of us that have consoles AND PCs. @Kurg Current X1 sales are mid to high 30 mil...but if you are mad about X1 owners upgrading, then you should also be taking away all Pro sales away from Sony.

We've already been seeing that. I just hope that marketing deals don't create too much parity (pipe dream I know). Like the new COD could do some amazing things with lighting/particle effects and such, but I'm sure Sony would kill Acitvision if they did. (Justifiably)
I haven't been this excited for a COD game in a while. The game actually looks pretty damn impressive on both. There are definitely some color and sharpness advantages on the PRO, but nothing too crazy actually. Looks like Sledgehammer didn't do anything specific in that area.
Much more dramatic than that actually. The originals it was all about freeze frame and zoom in to see which line was more jagged. Now, there are ACTUAL tangible differences in things like lighting, AA, texture quality etc. All those things ADDED to the higher res actually make a true difference.
Yes it's a concern, but not for every game. Games like ROTR have shown they aren't scared to provide a much superior game on X1X, but other games that have the marketing deal with PS WILL have parity issues.
That detail is awesome but I'm still drooling over the enhancements to ROTR on X1X....those are Fn nuts!!! Even better than the PC version on max settings

I'm happier with the Xbox list. Don't get me wrong, PS as a few good looking games in the distant future, but nothing for the rest of this year appeals to me on PS4. I wanna play Days Gone and God of War, but those aren't this year. To each their own. In fact, as it works out, there are more X1 games I'm excited about the rest of this year than on any console period. I'm excited about 3 of the remaining exclusives this year...whereas for the foreseeable future just Days...
The sad thing is I'm REALLY looking forward to 3 of those games...which is more than I "Must have" on any other console.
I always want dedicated servers, but it seems like that's a pipe dream now and that Activision has settled on the "you're gonna buy it either way" approach. Other than what I could tell from the BETA, I was happy...I think they just need to nerf the PPSH a bit cause it was WAY OP...and I think I would be okay with allowing 2 perks instead of just the one (that being said, I do appreciate the "back to bare bones" bit). Either way I'm happy with the game so far...
