@LamerTamer...if you're saying you don't understand why a UI can play a role in the gaming experience...then, yes you don't get it. Features like snap, suspend/resume (that works), and multitasking make differences in my over all enjoyment of gaming. You're overplaying FPS and screentearing for this game by a ton. Video game critics have horrible reputations because they have blatant bias' almost like every other form of critic. They almost always give preferential treatment to games they like. It's why I actually appreciate the sites that are dropping scores and just going to things like "buy or don't buy"
Guaranteed in a blind test no one would know which is which within Gen for this title. For me this is an X1 title due to controller and UI preference...not to mention the fact that it's a game designed around online play with friends. Not a tough choice at all for me.
Well for me it's easily an X1 game...being as it has a solid Online component, plus I just prefer the X1 controller and UI a lot
Yeah, this is kinda showing how it's already seeming so close between the consoles that DX12 may actually provide just enough difference to actually close the small gap...esp in areas like FPS
EVERYONE is allowed to have an opinion about a game...if you don't agree with them, don't worry about it....just continue enjoying what you like and avoiding what you don't...let others do the same...the world will keep spinning.
Saying that someone is moaning because they don't like a particular game is just childish. ...more to the point, why does ONLY this game get that sort of treatment?
I know I'll get crucified for saying this but, in person it actually looks really good on X1...and you'd never guess that it's 720p. Esp when you're walking around the streets at night and such and the sidewalk is glistening with water, etc.

Hmmmm...Elite Dangerous using Occulus....Elite Dangerous coming to X1....Elite Dangerous to support HoloLens???? possibly... (I know one is VR and one is AR, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if HoloLens eventually gets a blackout screen and doubles as VR).

One of my most anticipated games PERIOD...but if it makes sure the game is the best, I'm ok with it...it's for the best. If there is any year that they can do that, it's THIS year. There is already WAY TOO MANY GAMES this year and I can't squeeze them in. If QB get delayed I may be able to squeeze another game into my 30 "Must have" games I'm gonna play this year. Well it appears that there were some optimization issues here with this game, but still I'm sure it will look great and be fun to play. I have the option to play it on either, but I'll be playing on X1 for this one since it's a primarily online game. If we've learned anything this gen...it's that res differences are little more than fanboy bait and nothing more...most people that "brag" about these things would fail a blind test anyway.

If they do an Automatic download feature, it'd probably have to track things like if the game is still installed and how much spare room is left on your hard drive and if you have a season pass. They'd almost certainly have to make it an optional feature you can turn on and off, allow you to set a limit so that if you only had "X" amount of hard drive space left it wouldn't Auto Download.

Impressive, unfortunately most of my friends no longer play (which is ironic cause when they played I was into other games, NOW I'm getting into Destiny)...if I had Fatebringer and BlackHammer, I'd give this a shot, but as it stands...it looks like I'd just die alot. What makes this more impressive is that he does it as a hunter...and anyone that has played PvP knows the hunter is the only gimped class.
It shouldn't get slammed for being linear, that's the style of game that it is. I'm really looking forward to UC4, UC3 wasn't my favorite of the series, but it looks like UC4 will be a great game on all levels so far...and I love the setting.
All the Vr Devices are pretty nice in their own space, So far is it seems like Occulus is the best of the strictly VR devices, but for me none of them holds a candle to HoloLens. HoloLens adds a whole new dimensions not to just gaming, but the world, and it's not tied just to a games console despite being created for games first. I also have no doubt that at some point (if not at launch), they will also give it a blackout screen so that it can double as a VR device on top of AR....after...
The difference isn't NEARLY as dramatic as the article makes it seem. Either way the game is tons of fun, and I haven't even spent a dime on it yet.
