Well...honestly PS4 needs a solid racing game (seriously not a dig or troll). Drive club didn't live up to expectations, and X1 already has 2 solid racing games, I'm sure PS courted Project Cars' devs a bit more....and in Sept Forza 6 comes out. I'm not a huge racing fan myself...but I did love FH2...but Project Cars doesn't really stand out on the X1 side of the house as anything special. Not that it's a bad game or anything...just shys in comparison to it's co...

X1 footage has been available for over a week...you just had to be able to speak Arabic.
Either way this game looks fantastic...easily one of my most anticipated titles this year.
Games attach Ratios and Number of hours played are also objective...and they relate much more directly to satisfaction with the console....so if we are going for what people think is "the best", then clearly the stats favor X1...by more than twice as much in fact. Sales show more which marketing campaign was successful.

I DO honestly love all three of my gen 8 consoles, but whenever I see/hear someone try to explain why the PS4 is "the best" it's always just a repeat of some marketing hype that you can tell has no real backbone to it...it always...
Wouldn't it have to BE the best console in order to REMAIN the best console? Don't confuse best selling with best...they are not the same thing...this gen is showing that more than ever before.
Not really...cause the PT demo was only on PS4...which is what is making a lot of gamers ASSUME that the full game would be exclusive...which was pretty much all but shut down...they clearly said it would come to PS4 first...not "only". If MS bought the rights it would create a bigger wave because the title would have "switched hands" in some peoples eyes...which would create more drama....then more press.

Think of all the free advertising if MS bought the rights to this full game and hired Kojima/Del Toro/Reedus to do it for X1....true they probably couldn't call it Silent Hills(whatever the final would be). However, if they make the exact same game under a different title.....boards would light up everywhere.

@Hidden, I did state why it's far from the best...but I didn't look at it from a negative aspect about the PS4 (other than lack of quality exclusives)...I looked at it more as compared to other consoles that show having MORE potential. My intention wasn't to trash talk PS4...just point out that it's not the one with the brightest future.
I was expecting (and somewhat hoping) that it would be expensive...that way it's the real deal and not just some gimmick. Not only does it have a third processor, but it's a stand alone computer. It's also not just a VR device....it has to track MUCH MUCH MUCH more than just a simple head movement, it has to track/scan/adjust to your environment, then while doing all that accurately track your relationship to the environment around you.

I do agree that the article is simply about "potential" to be the finest...but the only reason I provided my opinion about it is because as someone that owns all the consoles...it's not the best now and doesn't have the brightest future...in fact in the future (as far as we know so far) it actually seems to lose steam in the future compared to other consoles.
