Take the time to make it support DX12 and it could POTENTIALLY look better on X1...esp for a game like this if they use DX12 to help with multiple light sources. Imagine lightsabers, blasters, explosions, shields and all that stuff going on under the canopy of the Endor forest.
1) Delusions
Well if this is the kind of stuff they approve, maybe they can stand to lose some of those points. Articles like this do nothing but stir up fanboyism over ignorance.
Whenever I see articles like this it just feels like someone is REALLY insecure and trying really really hard to convince everyone else that PS4 is some superior machine. They all have their ups and downs, and I love all my systems, but as it stands right now and for the foreseeable future I can't see PS4 being "better" at all.
So someone saying that there are 10 reasons why it ALWAYS will be just seems REALLY REALLY fanboyish to me. I can't find one reason...
Well this early on it wouldn't be a shock for it to be PC footage...not saying it is or isn't, just that it could be. That being said I'm sure it will look and run great on all systems. Being that it's an online game I will definitely be grabbing it on X1.... I HOPE that since its coming out in November it takes some advantage of DX12. It won't be built ground up for DX12, but imagine if for a game like this we had ray-tracing lighting...esp in the forest of Endor, or o...
Who cares, it's a primarily online game, meaning I'll be getting it for X1 no matter who markets the game more...just like why I was happier getting Destiny on X1 (even though it's bungie servers), and why TF2 will also be an X1 purchase for me. My hope is that with it coming out in November, that to some degree it supports DX12....I know it won't be built ground up for DX12, but if it's able to take SOME advantage of it that'd be awesome....imagine ray-tracing for a ...
I bought an external as soon as I could....never looked back. Externals are super cheap....this is a non issue.
Agreed...its more like TRYING to see bad things about Xbox, than ACTUALLY experiencing them.
Anyone thinking that the X1 is even remotely a bad machine is clearly just a fanboy trying to see what they WANT to see. Even if it's just not your thing...the X1 is still a great machine. As an X1 owner since day one and a proud owner of all the gen 8 consoles (plus owner of all but one nintendo systems, all PS's and all Xbox's...and a PC gamer)....in NO WAY am I even remotely upset about having an X1...in fact it's my lead console this gen by far.
How do a...
NICE!! Def day one buy for me. My X1 will probably get taxed to death this year and I may have to buy another one this Christmas.
...on both sides
It's definitely great to see Bloodborne doing well...esp since it's a new IP (although admittedly calling it a new IP is a little off...it's more of a spinoff really...but new IP works). However, I have to be honest that I'm surprised it didn't crush 1 mil in the first week. It really had NO competition and a fanbase of 20 mil eligible buyers. I get that it's not a COD or Battlefield type game, but I was expecting it to get to 4-5 mil by this point really....guess I...
Worst news I've heard about this game....I was REALLY looking forward to a new raid (and actually hoping for two).
Not only is that not true, and both games sound different in and out of the cockpit, but in both cases it's the same file with a gate on it.
I'm not a big racing fan but I LOVE FH2 that game is awesome. The sound is easily better on FH2, the inside cockpit view on DC is better, but the outside the car view is better in FH2 in this comparison...which is impressive considering FH2 is open world and has TONS more content.
Nah, it's bad for Xbox, but it always has been, but even for PS4 and Wii U it's a shadow of what it used to be.
It's easy for me to say that I wish Xbox would stop wasting their time in Japan and focus on South Korea instead (which actually has a vibrant gaming community), but I do see that MS's strategy isn't about selling consoles (although I'm sure the aren't against selling consoles at all)...it's more about reaching out to Japanese Devs.
That being said, I think MS should focus on trying to do well in S. Korea and China...console gaming overall in Japan is ...
You're only proving you don't understand the full scope of this.
Sorry, but I can't take this article seriously. As someone that owns all Gen 8 consoles and has owned every nintendo (except SNES), every PS, and every Xbox...and PC games and had a Dreamcast. There is NO WAY IN HELL after giving all the consoles a fair shot that I would say that I need to "move on" from my Xbox and head to PS4...that's just plain stupid. They are all great machines in their own right, and it's fine to have a favorite, but there is NOTHING that the PS...
What'd be sweet is if connecting multiple PC's to an xbox allowed you to use them to be like a closed network cloud server. So that within a single router it could offload non-essential processing for rendering to other PCs on the network and allow the X1 to focus strictly on rendering and such while PCs could process things like AI/World dynamics/etc.
...so in short, the exact same theory as Cloud compute but with your home PC so network issues are less of an "...
