To build even a half decent gaming PC you need to spend at least $500....but that is beside the point...it's obvious that most of you guys who pretend to have gaming rigs, really don't...so let's just drop the act, ok? All those games you guys pretend to get on the PC continue to sell far far better on the 360 and continue to outsell most of the exclusives on the PS3...so it is a weak argument and everybody knows it.

Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Fable 2, Fable 3, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Crackdown, Crackdown 2, Halo 3 ODST, Forza 2 and Forza 3 are a few 360 exclusives (released or announced) that can only be played on the 360.
In the grand scheme of things though...most console gamers couldn't care less if a game can also be played on the PC...all they care about is whether they can play that game on their console.

I have both consoles and I liked the 360's lineup in 2008 better than the PS3's...and it seems lots of gamers agreed with me, considering the success of those 360 games compared to the PS3 games....this year the PS3 has had a better year so far.

The argument that because a game is on the 360 as well as the PC it isn't an exclusive in the battle between the 360 and the PS3 is the stupidest, lamest argument ever. The battle is between the PS3 and 360...most people who game on consoles have no interest in the PC....of course there is some overlap...just like there is with the Wii...but for the most part the Wii and the PC are different markets.

The 360's failure rate would be unacceptable except for the warranty...so if the PS3's failure rate really is more than 10%, with a crappy warranty...it isn't even worth buying....it is too big of a risk to get a console with a poor warranty that has a one in ten chance of dying. The competition between the rival consoles is absolutely good for us gamers...we wouldn't be seeing half the advancement if only Sony or only Microsoft was in the market.
I wouldn't go so far as to call it paradise...but it does offer some damn fine gaming experiences and the best online service.

The part about system sellers was completely off base...the PS3 has had few system sellers...only MGS4 could be said to have moved PS3s. The 360 has quite a few big franchises that entice new buyers.
But I do notice it...and I have noticed it ever since I got both systems. You can try to downplay it all you want but the difference for me has often been significant....definitely more significant than the difference between DVD and Bluray...and people care about that.
What is the difference between DVD and Bluray?...well it's basically higher resolution, richness of colors and better contrast...and when comparing multiplatform games I have seen all of those things and more. ...

Let's see...the PS3 had a mandatory install, longer load times, slower frame rate (which actually impacts gameplay) and fuzzier textures, but you think the PS3 version should have won?...because the 360 version had more screen tearing?.....that doesn't make sense.
