Quit being jealous because Alan Wake looks better than Killzone 2 in many ways...Killzone 2 still looks good...nobody is taking anything away from you.
Alan Wake looks so good...I mean really amazing graphics...I just cannot wait for this game...the story should be really engrossing and the action looks spooky and fun...and it is going to be so beautiful to go around and explore with those amazing graphics.
It's not coming to pc...the pc version was canceled some time back....so 360 only.
What is he talking about?...the textures looked really good in that part...I think he just saw what he wanted to see.
Hmm...well this might be old but I have never seen it before...but after seeing this and the Halo Reach scans all I can say is that the 360 is getting some absolutely gorgeous looking games...since the 360 and ps3 are close to the same power...like so many developers have said...it really shows that it mostly comes down to how good the developers are and how much effort is put into it.
I am so excited for Halo Reach...it is going to be one of my top games of all time...the graphics are some of the best around and the gameplay details the article told about sound so freakin cool.
A guy in the gamer zone was sayin to compare the two scans and I did it and I saw what he was sayin...Halo Reach does look better than GoW3...those GoW3 scans were so small and it did not look as amazing as they were saying.
Not to me...Halo Reach looks more detailed and just looks better.
I feel you are wrong there...most of us 360 fans say Uncharted 2 looks good...we might not agree with the ways some ps3 fans exaggerate how good it looks..but we do agree it is currently one of the best looking games....ps3 fans though mostly will never admit any game on the 360 looks good...even though Gears 2 and Uncharted 2 are extremely close they will try to act like Gears 2 looks like crap and Uncharted 2 is some godly graphics way above....just the way some of them are saying GoW3 look...
Xi..I did what you said and you are completely right...Halo Reach looks better...I do not see what is so amazing about the GoW3 scans...it looks neat from an art perspective...but it mostly looks like the original GoW games on ps2 with just better textures on top...like if you look at that sixth picture with Kratos just standing there in front of that fence with the block pillars everything looks kind of meh...and I can't stand how cheesy the chains wrapped around his forearms look...not like...
I think people are saying that GoW3 looks good...everybody can see that it look good...but just not like some totally amazing game...the ps3 fanboys are trying to say it looks better than Uncharted 2, Gears 2, Halo Reach...everything...and that is complete BS...it doesn't look that good. Also they try to say that ps3 games look better than everything...and that is another big lie...there are good looking games on the both of them.
All right ps3 fanboys can you please leave these Halo Reach articles...everybody knows that you are just going to lie and try to downplay the visual...which are amazing btw. You don't see me or most other 360 fans in the GOW3 articles...even though we don't think GOW3 looks as good as you guys are saying...we just leave it alone and let you guys think whatever you want.
Yes...Halo Reach will be the biggest title of 2010...Gran Turismo will do well...but not as well as some are expecting...the market is far different now...Forza 3 is out and is satisfying a lot of people's need for great sim racing whereas the old Gran Turismos were pretty much the only game in town...at least on consoles. So yeah...I think Halo Reach will be the biggest title of 2010.
Well...the word has a negative connotation whether you like it or not...that is just another layer of the language...but anyway, to me overhyped means that something did not live up to its hype and Halo 3 most definitely lived up to its hype...its one of the few games from that year that I still play to this day...a lot. When a game continues to attract that many gamers...more than most recent games even...then it can in no way be considered overhyped.
How do you figure?...the 360 had a 5 or 6 million install base at the time when the ps3 came out...it currently has around a 6 or 7 million console lead...that means that it has sold more than the ps3 during the same time period since the launch of the ps3.
Hey it is a hell of a lot better than some of the games ps3 fans try to hype.
Gears of War 2 is right up there...not to mention some of the better multiplatform games like Resident Evil 5 and Dead Space....personally GOW3 demo did not impress me that much...it looks like what I would expect a current gen God of War game to look like....nothing less, nothing more.
Uh huh...that is why Bayonetta is getting almost nothing but super positive reviews and some are even calling it a potential contender for GOTY 2010...quit your pathetic jealousy...I am sure GOW3 will be a great game...but you don't need to hate on other amazing games.
If you have read some of the interviews it is still a very open game with huge environments...when they say it isn't an open world game they are talking about the typical open world structure where you just go around taking random missions...they didn't want that so they made it more revolve around a central narrative and the narrative goes from point to point...but the world is still huge.
