There is no way you can trust this because any reader was able to respond to the survey...whether they are a PS3 fanboy or 360 fanboy...and of course fanboys lie...all the time. Whatever the truth may be, all I know is that my 360 has not given me any problems and it is my favorite system...if I did get the RROD...oh well, I would just send it in and get it fixed. Don't be such a fanboy Statix...this game looks amazing. The detail is fantastic and overall it looks nearly as good as Killzone 2....only on a much larger scale.
Dustgavin quit living in your own little fantasy world...the 360 is every bit as powerful as the PS3 and it is actually easier to get at that power...that is the real reason that most multiplatform games look better on the 360. The 360 actually has more memory and a more powerful GPU. As for DVD vs Blu-ray...that makes very little difference...the only real difference is that some games will have to use more than one disc on 360....which is not a big deal. Disc read times are even more imp...
It has potential...that's all I am going to say about it at this point. But I don't understand why some people are so damn negative...I also don't understand why most of the people that are so negative aren't even fans of the Xbox in the first place....they are usually PS3 fanboys or anti-Microsoft extremists.
Ape007 I understand what you mean...I have both systems and they are both great...I just prefer the 360 and I make no effort to hide that fact. The thing is, I will always defend what I think is the truth...I am never hating on the PS3, because I genuinely like it...but some people think unless you bow down and agree with them that the PS3 is the greatest machine ever and the 360 is just a piece of trash you will be called a fanboy and attacked.
Oh how I love Mass Effect...let me count the ways...jk but I do love it and can't wait to get my greedy little hands on this masterful sequel. From the videos I have seen you can tell they have improved a lot of things.
Yeah man, I love the 360 controller...it's the best controller ever created in my opinion.
There are a lot of factors to consider...controller preference...do you care more about your gamer score or your trophy count?...do you care about being available to your 360 friends or PS3 friends for game invites etc. See, there are a lot of different things to think about. Besides...the 360 version does look a little sharper to me and I am waiting until a proper comparison is done before I make up my mind.
Quincunx anti-aliasing does blur texture detail...this is a well known fact...also, a lot of times the PS3 version does have less contrast and looks more washed out...so I wouldn't blame it on Lens of Truth.
I am excited for the new graphics features that Epic said are coming with the next update to the Unreal 3 engine....I already think the engine is pretty impressive the way it is now.
Don't you think the PS3 version looks a little softer or blurrier?...I can't believe that other people don't notice that. It's not a very big difference...but I can see it. It's probably due to the quincunx anti-aliasing that is usually used on the PS3...which tends to slightly blur the image.
Everybody should keep in mind that you can't tell everything from screenshots...there is still the all important performance criteria to be considered...and you can't tell that from screenshots. Does one tear more than the other one?...does one have slower frame rate than the other?...you know, stuff like that.
Really?...I thought the 360 version was slightly darker..with darker blacks. Look again.
The PS3 version just looks a little blurrier to me...but other than that they look pretty close. A really nice looking game btw.

I think you will eat those words when the game comes out and probably gets great reviews and lots of people are buying it. I think it looks amazing...so I don't understand where the PS3 fanboys are coming from on this...I think they are just trying to hate.
