Where are these flat ground textures you are talking about?...when the warthog was driving and when the aircraft were taking off I saw lots of detail in the ground textures....but whatever, the textures in general are freaking amazing man.

BTW...no, graphics are still not the most important thing...either a game is fun or it's not....graphics are important too but they are secondary....it's not that graphics aren't important...I think people just mean that they aren't as important as fun factor and overall game design.
Hmm....badz you have to be blind...this looks far far better than Gears of War... Kilzone 2 and all the rest of them...the detail and sense of "being there" is unreal....I honestly wonder if some of you downloaded the wrong video.

Why are their motivations suspect?....Why should I trust these smaller sites any more? They might not be as swayed by advertising dollars, but on the other hand they often seem to be home to more fan-boyish reviewers as well. They don't seem to have the same level of stringent standards that some of the bigger sites and magazines do.

They might have a fairly decent readership, but I have honestly never heard of them, so to me they are small time....certainly nobody can argue that they are on the same level as IGN, GameInformer, etc.
The simple fact is...I am familiar with certain sites and I feel I can trust their reviews because they have never led me astray in the past. When you have a history of reading certain sites and seeing their reviews match your personal taste in games then of course you are going ...
I have both and in no way does the ps3 controller feel better to my hands...the 360's controller is a lot more comfortable to me.
Meh...have the game now.. so I couldn't care less what these small time sites think about the game.
