Heavy Rain isn't all that new of a concept if you know about the tradition of adventure games of that sort...have you even played Indigo Prophesy/Fahrenheit?....if you had you will see that it is just a continuation of that game with a few improvements here and there...it isn't as revolutionary as you think. You want to know how many copies of MGS4 I see in my local Gamestop?....a lot....so I don't think that is a reliable sign of anything....when a game sells more there are unsurprisingly more copies traded in as well.
This game sounds fantastic...the action seems crazy....I don't know why I haven't downloaded the demo on my 360 or ps3....but after all these high scores I really want to play it.
I know what you mean...their online is awesome...their console interface is awesome...the controller is awesome...the games are awesome. About the only thing they went wrong with this gen is the hardware reliability...but even that has long since been sorted out.

Absolutely...Brink looks amazing..the graphics look like some of the best I have ever seen and the SMART system in which you can traverse the levels smoothly like Mirror's Edge or something looks really cool. but Mass Effect 2 and Halo Reach are probably my biggest games all in all.
Yeah...those are a couple people's opinion...but notice they didn't even say MGS4 was the best looking game at the time...it was just "one of the most beautiful titles ever made"....and as for Lens of Truth..they were getting a lot of flack from PS3 fanboys because their comparisons always showed the 360 versions to be better so they probably felt they had to throw them a bone...only a few reviewers said Killzone 2 was the best looking game ever on consoles...and in fact several rev...
