Uncharted 1 does not look better than Gears 2...it was widely proclaimed that Gears of War 2 looked better than Uncharted 1....only Uncharted 2 surpassed Gears of War 2. PS3...it only does mediocre games...with a few gems (uncharted 2) thrown in.

According to who?...I played the GOW3 demo and from what I have seen Alan Wake looks better....that is the problem with some of you guys...as long as a game is exclusive to the PS3 you will try to say that it has the best graphics ever and no game can equal it on the 360 and blah blah blah...just because we 360 fans try to stay out of ps3 articles doesn't mean that we agree with you when you go mouthing off like that.
Don't worry nogolis...I agree with you...I played the demo and it left me unimpressed. I know I lean towards the 360...but I was a fan of the first two God of War games and GOW3 is one of the reasons I got my ps3...but I felt the demo was too much of a rehash of the first two games and the graphics look pretty good in parts and pretty average in other parts...overall I just kept thinking 'God of War 2 with a fresh coat of paint'. God of War 3 looks good...but I just don't see what people are seeing...it looks good, but Uncharted 2 and some other games still look better. God of War 1 and 2 look better than no game on the ps3 or 360...the art direction might look better but from a technology standpoint the original GoW games just get left in the dust...even at the time they were released there were much better textures and lighting in most Xbox games...like I said GoW1 & 2 had great art that made them look good and decent technology..especially for a ps2 game...but it is crazy talk to say that they are better than anything on today's HD consoles.
