Totally agree and guilty as charged. My PC had its last major overhaul about 2 years ago. At the time I was happy to get 1080p with ultra settings. This power is now laughable, it plays all games with adjustments to certain things like shadows and AA. So I think you need a basic knowledge in PC building to actually understand what is required from certain components to achieve 4k/60 gaming. My old PC is stronger than an Xbox, however gets nowhere the power the Xbox one X is talking about.

On the contrary, a quick search of my post history would confirm a bias for MS, not against it. Let's not pretend that this is the most powerful machine they could make, it is however probably the most cost effective solution that hit a perfomance target and fitted a budget. I think all sides would agree that the processor was a compromise.
Let's be honest please. So you contacted every developer for a wishlist and then aggregated the results to get the X specs. Developers tailor to the hardware, not the other way around. Unless this what they really mean by ' Spin'.

Nope biggest trend out of E3 was Xbox fans using the word 'Beast' followed by the Sony fans shouting 'its not a Beast'

This is because the XBeast renders indie titles internally so fast that it tears a hole in the space time continuum.

Unfortunately if you want to try HDR gaming on these sets you will have significantly more input lag than these reviews claim. Okay for single player, but impossible for anything competitive. I'm happy that my 8 series Samsung (although mine is the 55inch variant) makes the list and can confirm it is a great all rounder for Games, Movies and Streaming. Roll on 4k gaming.
