This game could get 4s and 5s and still not be a flop. Not everyone with a ps3 looks at reviews, or even takes them seriously. People look at soome clips or the game (especially on ps store) and decide. Sony has put alot of media into this game wsuch as the anime and making of.
Some people have, what's called an "opinion" and "make their own choices". Meaning game scores don't affect sales all that much.

I find the issue with lair is mostly controls (and a few other things, but nothing is perfect)
To me its irritating, because I know that if you bother to learn the controls, it will be a killer game.
I think of MGS3, every review said the controls were hard to learn, but since it was an established franchise, they took the time to learn them and loved them.
It sucks that the reviewers don't take the time to learn the controls properly just becaus...
I've always wondered how they measure the time of a game. Do they remove the extra time due to them dying, so the total time is the time it takes to play the game without dying? It makes a big difference. Look at ninja gaiden, there like 5-6 hours extra from dying all the time. So a 10 hour game is now 15-16 hours.
Which review was it that stated it took them like 60 hours? I'm guessing they sucked haha.
Why doesn't MS just bundle a hd with the core instead of a price drop? I think thats more important, considering some new games need it to run.

Oh yeah, my bro was playing bioshock i found out that if you beat the game 6 times in a row, without breaks, you get to be a big daddy in a a new campaing. He said it was awesome.

Man, this site is hilarious. many think this is the best looking game on any console, yet no one cares about it really, its just flamebait when the next killzone video come sout. ok guys, the ps3 version of ffvii was meant to be a "if it had been designed on ps3". It was a short trailer, nothing else. People take it way to much at heart. I a big rpg and ff fan, but i know that this wasn't supposed to happen. Go watch the ff7 movie on blu-ray, It will satisfy you until ff13, and then you'll say "ffvii what?".
