The Ai is dumbed down alot so someone can play through the demo without dying, or not being able to show what he wants to. The most obvious one is MG4 where the guy easily walked up next to enemies and our good friend the narrator was explaining the whole way through about what he was doing.

Yeah, ESRB is poorely missmanaged. I don't understand how any game can't be played until your 18. 18! They can legally have sex, be tried as an adult and drive. But you can't play a game that has virtual blood. Oh no! Hide little 6'2" Johnny from these games.
WE know both hd formats are selling a lot less that dvd, but that doesn't mean its not important. HD formats won't take off until a winner is declared in this microwar. Then exclusivity can be set. When dvd started, do you think they made up a large part of video sales after the first year. People kept buying VHS. Once dvd established itslef, it slowly started growing.

So, let's take best case scenario and say the def. rate is 20% (simple math here ppl, assuming 1billion cost of repair for roughtly 12 million consoles). That means the userbase is about 8-9 Million for 360. With ps3 at 0.2% def. rate, you still have about 5 million ps3 users. With 9 months vs 21,...
Why would they be missing out if the game doesn't appeal to them? Are you missing out on Gundam and Animal Crossing? These games don;t do so well in NA, but are big hits in Japan.
As much and biochock is praised, its a very "mature" (as MS put it) game and doesn't mean everyone will like it, especially in coutries who's games have always been done a different way.

But I was just using polygons as an example. You can add environment noise, weapon details, basic enemies, even the programing that holds everything together. If you add up everything that you need to transfer to every disk, its not that far a reach to say that a dvd9 won't hold all that data, plus enough new material that wont make you go through half a dozen disks.
