The ps3 is doomed since it sold 11K less in North America than the 360.
This site can be funny at times. I bet at least 6 news articles in the next few day being posted about how sony need to change things around. 5 of those will be "analysts" (whom are as reliable as a one eyed used car salesman named john doe) and 1 from a gaming magazine.
Many xbots will bash the ps3 and sony playstationers will say that all 6 are biased and that MS bought them out.

I currently have media player and tversity as dnla devices on the ps3 and I noticed that I have no more space of my puny 20 gig hd. I have absolutely nothing other than a few demos and movie clips, so i should still have plenty of room. Does the dnla devices take up room on the ps3. I find that even if i close the programs, the room on the hd is still taken. Its quite annoying,...
There's some technical stuff like purity of gold in the connections and stuff, but in reality, its a bunch of BS. Most salespeople will tell you there's a difference, but they work commission and would love for you to buy the over expensive cable. Keep in mind that your running a 720p 30" (i think), so even if there was a small difference, its unnoticeable. I have a 42" 1080p and I have cheap cables and they run just fine.
Most tv stores will try to get you to buy those 100$ monster hdmi cables that cost an arm and a leg. But truth be told, you can buy a cheap cable at wal-mart for pretty much the same price as components. The cheap cables are just as good really. Plus with a 720p, there is no way you'd see a difference (even at 1080p) between expensive and cheap cables.

If sony is in trouble, then so is MS. Since a difference 11K in NA isn't much, and globally, sony should take july. So what should MS do then?

First of all, why are you assuming that any fanboy is american? Maybe there are users here, that actually don't come from a counrty that only has about 5% of the world population. I know its hard to comprehend, but the US is not the only think on planet earth.
Second, ps3 sales are behind by 11K. Its not hard to add up 11k from Canada, Europe, japan and Denmark. So your tiny little insignificant countries may actually make ps3 sell more that 360 globally.
yes, sony has been saying alot of things that they shut keep to themselves. But I think they got more humble as of late, with the exception of comments like this.

I'm not hypocrite and i know that blu-ray wasn't put there only for gaming. Sony used the ps3 as a medium for other marketing.
But look at it this way. Blu-ray is gonna be very beneficial in the near future, most importantly, game size. Developers for Gears openly admitted that they would of benefited from blur-ray.
