It froze on me once, and that about 30 matches (4-5 hours). Its not like your playing a big campaign where you hafta start all over again, just reboot the ps3 and in 30 seconds your back to where you were. No biggie. Really, buy the game. I'm not the kinda guy to try to sell a product, but damn, Warhawk is a blast.
yeah, it happen to me a while ago when I tried to register a motorola headset. you gotta press the button for like 5 secs for it to register.
and yes, L3 is for talking. But remember ppl, keep it under 10 sec. (according to the manual)
OK, Lair is one game, and if you bothered reading some comments, most have had 1 freeze or so happen to them. Warhawk is the funnest game I've played in quite sometime and pretty much everyone with a ps3 will agree. Just because it froze once or twice doesn't mean sh*t. Every online game, ps2,ps3,xbox,360,pc is bound to freeze from time to time. At least we aren't paying extra for it.

Probably the only FPS I'll pick up 'till KZ2.
While it doesn't scream next-gen, it looks very innovative and just loads of fun.
360 owners have Hour of Victory, ps3 owner now have Lair.

I had it freeze on my second game while I was connecting to the game, so i thought i was in for some disappointment,. But many games later, nothing.
I thin the most important fact is I have yet to see any lag, even in 32 player dogfight. Now that is impressive!

I officially admit that Lair will suck. I'm not one to easily be persuaded , but the scores keep getting lower, and when the most respectable site give it a 4.9, its time to jump ship.

There are two reasons I choose BR over HD-DVD
1. ps3 owner, therefore, for my sake I want BR to win so i can keep watching hd movies
2. disk space. I don't remember where i saw this but for uncompressed audio at 1080p video, HD-DVD can only hold 2 hours of data. So for long movies, they probably compress some (yes, they can add layers sometime in the near futur). While this will never make a difference to the human eye/ear, its a matter of principle. It is half price. It comes with a headset, which is technically worth more than the game.
Of course they are in trouble if you personally decided not to support them anymore. I mean, without you, the ps3 is dead.

Well, the official ps3 blog did mention them (as their friends no less), so I am sure they were compensated for their loss. Had the finding showed the ps3 break easily, then that would of been a different story ;)
Was there ever any good game movie? RE was "passable" at best.
Movies based on games are all cash cows, trying to squeeze every little bit of cash they can.
And is it me, or has the halo franchise completely sold out? Movies, soda pop, etc. It really sucks because as good as halo 3 will be, for me it will be tainted with bad movies and products. It did that for me and star wars (although I never was a BIG fan). Enough will JarJar Binks products!

You need to log on to a game without a X over the trophy (first icon). The blue ones are all ranked wince they are scea hosts. I found it hard sometimes to get a ranked server, but i guess this is only day 3 since launch.
