Has anyone realized that the number of disks needed go up exponentially?
The more "core" data that must be tranfered between disks will continue to grow in size the less space for new material can be added.

To anyone who will press the disagree button. Go to the the link for a list of press reviews of god of war (Since HS is always compared to it) Note that there are many 8/10 and if you take the time to read a few, the reviews felt like the game was over too soon and reason for an 8.
The game devs are lazy because they aren't compressing? The whole advantage right now of BR is that you don't have to compress since there's enough space.
The use of compression causes loss of quality. If not, why not just compress the living hell out of a game to fit it on a floppy?
With Blu-ray, You save time by not having to compress and you get the highest quality.

We should get a 360 before christmas, before ms attempts to get new heat sink sin. They'll be a collector's item, so don't take it out of the box though. In about 5 years only those in mint condition, who've never been plugged in will still work. Then sell em on ebay. "first gen 360, no red lights, 8,000$". ;)

or maybe the xbox 180, since by now they have realized that when you do a 360, your back to square 1. Doing a 180 is the correct way of saying your revolutionized your console.
I think s its kind of both their faults. EA has 20 platforms to build this game and they *hafta* do it every year. With new technology, it takes a time to master it. The first 360 games were bad, but now they are able to do decently. The Cell is completely different so it's normal that it takes time to get it right.
However, I do feel cheated by having a lesser version. Especially since its not exactly a great feat. Its not like the 360 version was running at 120fps. 60fp...

Really, both versions look decent. There are slight differences in the two because they are on different platforms! You can argue both ways which looks better

Your entitled to your opinion, but the disgree button is there for people who don;t agree. I for one think they have beaten the target. They didnt have the dynamic lighting back then and that alone makes it so much better.
Also, I think you got disagrees for saying that gears had better textures. I played and loved gears, heck thats the reason I started into nex gen. But I give credit where it's due and Killzone has much much better textures.

I'm positive that that 40 mil isn't just for this game alone. Hands down, the lighting is the most impressive and innovative things. No doubt Guerrila will share this technology to future game. The money is used to create the game and create new and exciting tools for the ps3.
