Skyward sword will be a big seller itself, but do you really think it will convince anyone to buy a Wii?
If someone has ignored the Wii hype train for 5 years and skipped Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Mario Kart, Metroid, etc... they probably have no interest in another Zelda.
same could have been said for the DS.
Ok fine. I should have said COMBAT not GAMEPLAY. The entire game itself is great. That's why I bought it and why I spent more money on the DLC. But the COMBAT is repetitive.
Heavy Raid doesn't have COMBAT. It's a QTE-Choose-Your-Own-Adventure- Hey-Look-Theres-Boobies game.
because there's no GAMEPLAY during the day time.
"you don't go in a straight line through the woods. Are you sure you even played this game?"
Yep, I played it. Both DLCs too.
There are 6 episodes in the main game, all MOSTLY involve walking through the woods.
Here are screen shots from each chapter.

It's really simple.
Xbox came out first and started a gaming trend of online FPSs. You get teens hooked on a trend and it's over.
I'm in my 30s but have a lot of younger cousins on my xbox friends list. They do nothing but play online FPSs. Meanwhile I'm playing single player games mostly.
This generation will be called the "online-fps" generation and that's the xbox's strong point. end of discussion.
I've said it before (and been attacked), the gameplay is too repetitive. About 5 different enemies and you kill them all the same way "Duck-Light-Shoot". If you take away the cut scenes, you're almost always walking in a straight line in a dark woods.
I liked the story enough that I played all the way through and played both DLCs, but was completely annoyed by the gameplay by the end.
but they were just getting started /s

These all have dangerous, adult-only aspects to them. According to you, blaming the parents when a kid sticks his hand in a blender is just the blender company trying to weasel its way out of taking blame.
I have two kids, EVERYTHING they do and say is MY res...
It'd be called Halo.
Stop telling me that things are "Stunning" or "Epic" or "Mind-blowing" or that it "Will blow you away" or "You won't believe it".
Fallout 3 can be beat in 30 minutes. You'd think they would have made this open world game longer.

Does plugging in a USB camera count as a hardware upgrade?
But don't forget that this is also with GT5, PS3's ace in the hole.
Can't we all just agree that they are both doing well. It's a virtual world wide tie for 2nd. Nothing for either to brag about.
edit: (or for either to be ashamed of)
Actually just found that it is avail in USA, and it sucks.

Looks like the site is down now.
My comment could not have generated that much traffic to the site, right?
I actually bought one of these a while back and then returned it.
It wouldn't stay connected longer than 20 seconds and I was only 10ft from the PS3.
I want this to come to USA

Bluetooth, so no dongle. I would just use it for FPSs.
I wasn't talking about the Wii, and neither was ChistianGamer.
If you look at ChristianGamer's comment history, you'll know what he's talking about.
Offering SOME casual is a lot different than offering ONLY casual.
Totally different market? both are Nintendo video game devices. If we were talking about Phones and Shoes, then you could say that.
Nintendo has 2 very successful video game devices, released within 2 years of each other. Both are still selling, yet one of them is getting a new "version", why is it hard to imagine that the other one might too?
