@Griever
Bricking consoles is illegal (at least in USA).
Just like if Ford found out you were using one of their cars to deal drugs, they couldn't come to your house and remove the engine. They can call the police though.
I wonder if this will be free to PS+ members also.
How they going to do V.A.T.S. with multiple people playing?
Think about it.

just because you don't want it, doesn't mean millions of other don't. This is the main feature xbox users miss when they use a PS3.
Improved web browser "There's nothing wrong with existing browser". -
Yes there is, a whole lot of web sites don't work on it. It hasn't been updated in a LONG time, and for a web browser, that's a major concern.

Kill all the men you want in games. Shoot, stab, explode, beat, dismember 100s or 1000s of them.. But if you kiss one, we better alert the moral police.
I have a lot of good games waiting to be finished. As soon as someone adds 6 hours to the day, I'll be able to do it.

The age of consent in a some countries is 12. Scary.
At least we've come a long way from Final Fantasy VIII.

Pre-recorded doesn't mean they didn't do it with the game engine.
They pre-record cut-scenes so that they have a chance to load things in the background while the movie plays.
What would be the point of making the game engine render the same, unchanging, cut-scene in real time?
Just did some more research on this.
Every time you upload a new save, that counts as a different save, even if it's for the same game. This makes much more sense.
This was a good game

to all the people who are saying they are going to "move from room to room":
For some reason Sony only lets you restore a save once every 24 hours.
Why would they do this?
SOMEONE HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION THAN ME, I MUST INSULT HIS INTELLIGENCE AND CALL HIM NAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry if I want current technology to advance. I've been playing Zelda since it first came out and have played every single one of them since. They used to be the benchmark for game tech and art. Not anymore.
Nintendo franchises are being held back due to the Wii's limitations. The other 2 consoles are running circles around the ...
Wii is 480i (480p possible), no real online network, no hard drive, no media playback capabilities.
They need a new console.
Can you image an HD, open world, online co-op Zelda?
From the article:
"there'll be a 24 hour period after saving before data can be accessed on a different console"
WTF?!! Justify this Sony. The 2 main reason people will load a save on another console is
1) running over to a friends house to play
2) going from room to room in your house
No one will wait a F!#%!#%& DAY to load the save they just saved.

Because of COD's popularity, we now waves of copy cats games flooding the market. Just about every major release is a FPS where people just sit online and pew, pew, pew all day.
And now, Devs think that other genres have to be made into shooters (Metroid, Fallout) to succeed.
Heaven forbid they make a game where you don't watch the barrel of a gun float up and down while you try to line up your cross hairs.
I am sick of FPS.
Sorry, but this is dumb.
1) You need to own a ps3.
2) You need to have the ps3 tied up running the server app. (not in the background either)
3) The lag is going to make it worthless. The controller gets info from user, sends to ps3, ps3 gives to server app, server app sends across home network, PC gets info, gives it to client app, client app reacts.
4) Better hope that no one figures out a way to exploit this in any way, or else it's gone.
Yea, Hollywood has never thought of a war movie before. /s
